As a young man in his 20's Jay z is one of the rappers who speaks to me through music, being able to document your life in songs is a big move. This is where you know music can be used as a weapon or a way of inspiration.

does nobody notice the knowledge he's dropping? he's lightweight an enlightened being. he speaks from a point of view that feels like he's just a regular person. he never gives off the vibe that he's better than anyone else. ultimate balance of Pride and humility. understanding what's important. Nobody?

Yeah man, Jay z is the ultimate goat. He’s your favorite rappers favorite rapper. And up until recently he was someone who EVERYONE respected rather they liked his music or not. Sadly now we’ve reached a generation of entitled punks who think their shit don’t stink and that they don’t owe anything to anybody. But yeah, jay z is the man🙌🙌

What an incredible interview. Jay Z is by far the most insightful and knowledgable individual of our time that pushes the genre forward. He embodies what it is to be a person of high integrity that can handle himself in any platform be it the streets of Bed Stuy or the CNN newsroom. He invented himself.

Very interesting to me how Jay says that his reason for acquisitions, at this point in his life, and wealth growth is to be able to provide a better start and easier start for the generation coming up behind him. He say's he doesn't want this upcoming generation to have to come from such a position as he did. To me that says a lot about rap and the music industry overall. It's almost like he understands that you don't have to be a drug dealer or something of the sort, living in the extreme ghettos of this country in order to be able to provide great music. Maybe not so much that he understands that as much as he believes that it is available to us. Really have a great respect for this guy. His humility and pay-it-forward mentality would go down as historical in my book

I think he was talking simply about being able to hand down wealth to HIS next generation, as in his kids, grandchildren etc. Because like he states, there hasn’t really been many (if any at all) black families that have created the kind of wealth that it takes to pass down from generation to generation. Granted yes I agree, he is an outstanding man who deserves so much respect🙌

As you get older, you realise Jay Z is cemented in top 5 rappers, arguably artists, of all time. The growth, the maturity, the business, the calmness are all things we can take into life and grow from

UR a MORON. This guy is a SELF-PROFESSED, FORMER MAJOR DRUG DEALER from the BRONX!! And there's something we can all learn?! SURRRRR... like how many other drug dealers in the BRONX got themselves DEAD by JAY-Z and his organization, because there was a territory dispute?!! Do you think it's NOT POSSIBLE that the man being interviewed killed another person during a DRUG DEAL gone bad??!

I am always honored to listen to a individual with such admirable credentials and achievements. But as far as these comments go...There are two types of individuals, one eats and digest what is beneficial to consume and then shit down the toilet what isn't. Then there are those who miss out on what could have been beneficial to consume because they are so focused and drawn in on what wasn't. but then you have to ask yourself, "what kind of person am I to dwell and continuously chew on shit that is of no use to me?" Bored? Unproductive? un valuable? un useful? take your pick...i guess at the end of the day you are what you eat huh #thinkaboutit
