The fact that Face wrote that verse about someone else’s pain that was greater than his in that moment tells you all you need to know about Face as a person. Also he used his verse as a way to minister to his friend as well. No wonder why that verse is one of my favorite of all time!

Im 34, this song came out when I was 14 and I kept it on repeat in my room. I remember my pop telling me I couldn't relate to anything they was talking about in the song but still it remained my favorite song on the album and I played the hell out of it. I messed around a lot in my late teens and twenties chasing females, running the streets smoking, drinking and I know I shouldn't have regrets but I do wish I could do some things differently. On the other hand, my kids healthy, my close family all straight and healthy. I don't enjoy my job but it pays well, got me my house and cars. My girlfriend bad af and she can cook. Shit gets hard sometimes and it's easy to get down on yourself, just count your blessings and be thankful and keep pushing. 💯
