52* to 55* is optimal. 45* is too shallow and loads up rock, clay, vegetation. and 60* is too steep which causes material to slide too fast across screen carrying fines, causes excess wear upon metal surfaces, and reduces the footprint of the screen impact area. In this video they are using round river rock which yes can use the shallow angles, but if you are using angular rock, flat rock, clay, or rock/soil materials you for sure want to go for the 52-55 degree angle. Be sure to use the T profile bar so it won't clog up, round pipe and angle iron is a sure way to get clogged. Some people have success with square tubing set as a diamond on edge, but the T profile is better than all other shapes

You cut out how perfectly the first section of bars plugged up as the dump truck dropped its load onto it. Thumb down.

Dear Tim, Its load is not hitting directly to the bars, another strong base is preapreaded for receiving the material and provided with maximum slope for easy movement of material. Thank you for your itrest and comment.
