It's about time. This place gets missed so often. Its hidden gem. No smoking, quiet. Great location to Aria, a bridge to bellagio and close to Cosmopolitan as well. My best stay in Vegas was here.

Vdara is a nice hotel with those with families or business travelers who want a more quite hotel with no casino.

I love VDARA, especially the corner suites! You get a full refrigerator, 4 burner stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer for those extended Vegas stays! Like The Patisserie inside Aria, the Market Cafe is also open 24 hours for those late night noms! You have easy access to Cosmopolitan too by exiting VDARA out front and taking the elevator or stairs down to the front of the firehouse and crossing the valet area into Cosmo or you can take the tram to the Shops at Crystals and cross the walkway to Cosmo. I expect they'll improve access once they've fully transitioned to MGM in April. With Gold status, I get free parking, so I always self park at Aria and take the tram to the back of VDARA to avoid cutting through the casino. Trying to get your luggage through the casino can be a pain, but the tram makes it easy!

Hi Jay! Thank you so much for this Vdara tour! I stayed there for the first time for one night only back in the Fall. I love the fact that there is no casino. Reminds me of a smaller version of The Signature. I received a complimentary upgrade to the one king bedroom suite. Very nice. The view from the bedroom and the bathroom of the Bellagio fountains and the Strip with the Paris Eifel Tower was breathtaking! I also enjoyed that bridge walkway after you pass Starbucks that connects over to the Bellagio. Very convenient. Enjoy your week! CAB😊

Thanks for the video, Jay. I stayed at VDARA during my first solo trip in Vegas. The pro’s was that I got a free upgrade to a Studio Parlor room and my last night resort fee was waived because housekeeping failed to respond to my needs in a timely manner. Plus, one of the switches controls the blackout curtains so you get a good night sleep. The con is that housekeeping is super slow or not responsive to your needs. I needed to elevate the issue to the hotel manager. Plus, the bathroom doesn’t have a fan or air freshener.

Just stayed at Vdara last week! I did the $20 trick at about 2:30 PM on a busy Thursday and was able to get the "upgraded" version of your room that came with a divider that separated the living and bedroom. Not sure if it was technically a bigger room but mine did seem much bigger than yours so definitely worth to ask the receptionists if there any available upgrades! Like a lot of people said, the Vdara is kinda boring in the inside with no super fancy restaurants but it is just about a 5 minute walk to the Aria or Belagio if you want to gamble or eat out. My favorite part was the microwave in the room, I didnt have to force myself to eat all my food at any of the restaurants I went to and instead took them back to the room and reheated them later! I would say its a great hotel to stay at for what its worth especially if you are not into the loud and crazy casino experience .

Oh yeah you went from Studio to Studio Parlor the booking price difference is maybe and additional $8-9/night so you might've gotten a solid deal out of it. I was lucky and got a comp upgrade from Studio to their Corner executive Suite without having to do the $20 trick. I imagine it was cos I had an MGM rewards account already and I told the concierge that everytime I visit vegas I stay at the vdara 😊

We love Vdara. Not having a Casino is no big deal because most likely you will be casino hopping anyway. Beautiful rooms especially in the upper floors and upgraded rooms. Always ask about upgrades. They are very a helpful earlier in the week. We stayed here 3X and my son had a 270 view corner. We were on the 51st floor overlooking the Bellagio Fountains in a corner room with a separated living room, kitchen, dining area, bedroom, soaking tub and shower, two bathrooms, etc. Slam Dunk!

Great video Jay Jay! I’ve never been to the vdara but it’s nice to see that it’s only a hop skip and a jump to Bellagio and aria! Love that you can preorder your food, charge it to the room and have it delivered to your room! Very convenient! #Jabronis 😂😂 if ya know, ya know! Hi miz! Hi Cm Punk!

Not just Vdara..I have checked in at Bellagio, Mandalay, NYNY days before in recent visits, and never failed to have my room ready for entry before 8am. Will be at Vdara and MGM in May, expecting same results..by the way, nice review..keep it coming//

I stayed there in April and I loved it. I imagine now that it has the indoor walkway to Cosmo and Bellagio it would be even better. It was my first solo trip so I didn't take advantage of having the full amenities as I only ate at grab n go places.

You've finally done a room review at a hotel that I've stayed at a few times! 😅 I really like Vdara. I usually stay there if I can't get a studio corner suite at The Aria. The corner suite at the Vdara is cheaper, too. I saw that Aria has done some renovations on their corner suites. If you can afford it, I would love to see a review of that room.

We stayed in Vidara last December! You have to valet park cause parking is generic parking for Aria and cosmo and it’s a little walk to Vidara! We can see watch the water show from Bellagio and the MSG SPHERES which is still under construction! Easy walk to Bellagio or to Aria! Like you said you can bring leftovers to the room and leave it on the fridge and warm it in the microwave!

Great vlog as always Jay! I love staying at V'dara however, I do not their pool. The location is super loud being over the traffic circle. There's very little shade from the oppressive Sun and while they fixed the Sunbeam of Death, the reflection of the Sun on the V'dara windows is awful. When I stayed there in 2019 a window came loose and so the pool was closed and so we could access Aria's pool and that changed my life! LOL Are those R2-D2 droids that bring coffee to the guest rooms still there?

Hey Jay, were you able to do a room charge from the proper ears to the vdara ? Are both Vdara and Aria connected? I don’t like aria rooms but love Vdara rooms. However I like the different restaurants and how you can charge to room against reward points.

The food hall had limited kiosks when I went there over the summer. Vdara rooms looking slightly dated (minor dings, curtain rails broken not working). Still, Aria or Vdara are my favorite MGM properties on the strip.

Interesting…I personally don’t know anyone who has stayed at this hotel. Good info. I get comped at Caezar’s hotels so I know I won’t. Good for the occasional Vegas visitor as great room rates.

Not only in Vdara. When the weather is too hot or cold to walk to Bellagio. If you are already in Aria. You can go to the back where there is a poker game and burger place. You'll see doors to upstairs where it says self parking and tram. When you see dumpling window on your right you can take the hallway to Bellagio instead walking outside ramp by Vdara.

@@Jaycation THANKS, Its just bad timing. I got the D for April 9 to 14, my friend was supposed to get the rest but he got a hernia thats needs to get fixed, the rates are $200 a night now total. i may cancel the whole trip. Appreciate you getting back to me!
