The bonus chapter was one of my favorite chapters in the whole book because it showed the true reason why Jayfeather was lashing out at everyone in a way that is unnatural even for him. He’s such a sweet sad boy 😭

I haven’t REALLY been keeping up with the series as of late, but hearing about Leafpool now...This makes me really sad. She had always been one of my favorite characters, and now she’s gone. AJSSKDJDS

Awww this is so sweet. At the end of the day, they were close - especially as mentor and apprentice. And Jay is definitely the type of person who takes losing someone close to him hard. Well done.

I have only just heard about Leafpools passing and this breaks my heart, I started reading the warrior series (I started with A New Prophecy) and she was always a character I connected with on a personal level, I have so much love for this character and I’m so sad she had joined Starclan. Rest in Peace Leafpool

Poor Jayfeather. He lost almost everything. Half moon who was the only cat he loved, Hollyleaf who was his only sister, his stick which he loved and thought of as his own, his best friend (and maybe more) briarlight, and now.. his mother and mentor, leafpool. it’s so sad to see how much Jayfeather has lost over the years.

jayfeather's grief is the worst. He is a really grumpy cat and etc and i particularly didnt like him much in lost stars because he complained too much, but when he grieves over leafpool and specially bramblestar (and briarlight but that was in avos), its sad how he cant even say something without breaking down

I wish I was in Jayfeather's shoes, because I lost my mom, but she decided to stop being my mom when I was young, never was around me by her own choice, just straight up gave up on me. If I was Jayfeather, or at least in a similar situation, I could have peace knowing my mom loved me with all her heart and that I will eventually see her again. In other words its a great video, it definitely is an emotional ride, and a wonderfully animated masterpiece.
