I honestly LOVE Jayfeather. He is one of my favorite cats so far. His blindness and telepathy powers give you a whole new view on the books, and his personality is just so interesting. He is like a puzzle with no picture. You just have to use the edges to GUESS how it fits.

I love Jayfeather because he is almost like me. Yeah, I'm also negative, short tempered and grumpy. And a bit annoying. Yes, I'm not denying that he can be annoying. Especially in the first books of Power of Three.

He is a jerk at times.. but that is part of his character.. it's part of him. I'm not excusing him of anything. I'm simply adding on to his few good natures. Jayfeather is by no-means my favorite character. I just think it's cool how "Jay Wing" contributed to the whole lake, mountains, OG forest, lake arc.. etc

You explored some really good points here. Rather than being bias, you pointed out why Jayfeather is great AND GAVE REASONING. You formed your own opinion rather than being influenced by the fandom. I agree completely. A character that has development is the best kind of character. He's influenced by others and by what has happened previously, allowing him to make decisions. He has reasons to do things, rather than doing something just for the sake of it. Oof nobody will read this.

My favorite evil cat would actually be Breezepelt mainly because he ISN'T relatable, but because I like cynical cats. Jayfeather is my favorite cuz I like cats with good roasts! That's why Crowfeather is my second favorite.

When you think about Jayfeather kinda created the clans because he made Half Moon stone teller when he was with the ancients, and Lion’s Roar (Lionblaze) suggested to stone teller that they should separate their tribe, thus making half of their tribe move to the original forest in dawn of the clans.

Jayfeather has and always will be my favorite cat in the whole franchise, simply because he's so well written. His imperfections make sense, his antisocial and sociopathic tendencies resonate with the recluse in me, and his limitations of blindness present a very active method of inhibiting his overall power. I mean, imagine if he COULD see, AND he could read minds. He would be the most powerful cat, even with Dovewing and Lionblaze there, simply because he could play both the mind game and the fight game. Sure, he whines, but so do a lot of cats. And he's BLIND, he has the right to complain.

I highly agree with you! Jayfeather also has sacrificed any things in his life,his love for halfmoon,his role in the clan and many more his story is very written having the fact that he had to give up his dream of being a warrior he is still able to be a medicine cat even tho he is *blind!* yes,blind! Even tho he is blind he shows great enthusiasm into helping his clanmates almost sacrificing his life to save flametail. I really agree with your thoughts on him

JAYFEATHER IS STRAIGHT NO MATTER WHAT I HEAR ANYONE SAY. I support LGBTG+ though I just never understood how people think of Jayfeather as gay. I mean I have a friend who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community. yes, i'm jealous of him. i'm jealous of him, i wanna be blind too. i wanna be hated by half of my fandom too. i wanna have powers that make me slightly more depressed which i then loose too. i wanna have an ambition i'm discouraged of doing too. i wanna do things that i simply can't do because of my disability too.

In a vision of shadows he says to leafpool "if im not hard on them theyll think im getting soft from age" and through out this arc he praised alderheart and every now and then twig kit aswell

JayFeather is my favorite… He has the most personality and growth in the series! His scenes are the most interesting! FireStar and JayFeather are the only characters with the most interesting scenes to me.

Akira I think you missed your chance at a visual pun when you said that Jayfeather’s journey at the beginning was rocky. You could’ve had Rock just fly across the screen when you said that. This was a great video and I hope you make more about other characters soon

Yeah same. He has an interesting character, and his POV is interesting to read, but he is extremely rude and someone that I would definitely dislike in real life.

Rockstar Ivypool I do appreciate his loyalty to his clan and siblings, but those things just don’t change my opinion of him for me. I will never hate him, I just don’t like him.

I love Jayfeather because I can relate to him. (I'm not blind, I mean his personality.) This is because he's not always positive, and is grumpy sometimes. Also, I think if I was a warrior cat, I would be a medicine cat instead.

Yeah I hate when people see him only as grumpy. He was really grumpy back when he could'nt connect with cats, but now he learned to be less grumpy and to connect with others. He can still be a bit grumpy sometime, but he alway have a good heart. I like you Jay!!!!

"He's like that because he had a hard life being blind" That's not a good excuse. There are people that lost limbs, have suicidal thoughts and hated the world, and have dementia or other mental disorders, but you still see them being able to act kind and helpful.

Ok, I respect what you’re trying to do but everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if someone finds him annoying then that’s just how they feel and you need to respect that. I have mixed feelings on Jayfeather. Some of the things about him do annoy me.. like how he forgives and loves Leafpool and treats the cat who raised him like rubbish. That and the way he treated Hollyleaf when she came back, excluding her and being indifferent. The newer books really bother me, he has no reason to be an ass to others, he’s well respected and seen as a hero but he acts like an entitled asshole. I don’t hate him but I do hate some of his actions and I do find him annoying at times. I’m not holding anything against Jaypaw though, he was just a child that was trying to fit in and had a harsh mentoring (Leafpool was cruel to him throughout his whole apprenticeship so it’s no wonder he lacks manners, we learn by example after all)

I love him. He's snappy, irritable, intelligent, and unique, and he reminds me of Star Trek's Dr. McCoy (who is probably my favorite TOS character). I also like how he doesn't let his disability get the better of him.

Jayfeather does have a lot of personality and is a good character but what bothers me is how the Warrior cats fandom is okay with how malicious he is wheather he went throught traumatic and terrible things or not thats no excuse other cats have gone through worse so that's no excuse for him to complain If Jayfeather was a person in real life he woild easily be hated People say his sarcasticed ways are charming and funny but hes not being sarcastic just mean They're other characters that are sarcastic but that's not what Jayfeather is he's just a mean person and ita unbelievable how the fandom likes his behavior the way he treated Firestar and Brightheart who tried to help him is insane and top of that both of those cats are older and deserve his respect he's a jerk to Alderheart who no matter Alderheart countinues to be loyal and care for him despite Jayfeather not deserving it Hes not evil just a jerk who *shouldn't* be well like

a lot of his anger comes from being blind. he wants to prove to his clan that his blindness doesn't define him. becoming a medicine cat (which he doesn't want to be in the first place), to him, was like saying blind cats can't be warriors. he's hostile towards brightheart because he was placed with the cat that also had impaired vision like he can't become normal warrior or something. also a lot of it comes from the prophecy forcing him to do things he doesn't want to. he never wanted to be a medicine cat, he's just good at it.

I have created an OC for warriors his name is Dusk claw (later Dusk star) he has a brown pelt and with green eyes he is kind, strong, and loyal to his clan which is Wind clan. He is part of Fire star’s family tree, as a kit Jay feather told Lion blaze he was going to have three kits but he and Cinder heart would be killed by Fang (Scourge’s kin). So they were taken to Wind clan.

And I really like when he convince Starclan to help battle the Dark forest. It's like that he know how isolation was making him selfish and agressive to others. he know that it's when he grow to be a good friend he can truly be happy. So he know that Starclan should'nt isolate like he did
