totally understandable, in 2020 i also got burnt out from all pvp games, paladins LoL battle royales etc. so i just stopped all and started playing single and pve games. i wanna get back to paladins after few years to feel the joy of exploring all the champions again, hope i see you there when the time comes ✌️

Completely understandable that you took a break; so don't worry, Jay. Remember that games are made for us to have a good time (or at least that's part of the idea). For me Genshin is that game where you can go and chill for a bit. Peace, tranquility, admiration for the cute waifus, prayers to the artifacts' gods and crossing your fingers for lucky wishes: it is wonderful. In the other hand, Paladins is that magical fps that can be very exciting with friends or even with random people. It is quite versatile, so you can experiment with some crazy stuff. It doesn't matter how competitive or casual the matches may be, there are sure to be full of clutching, funny and certainly unforgettable moments. There is also: Evie, the Flying Ice Block, Jenos' ults [KAMEHAMEHA!] pentakill compilations, 3 - 3 (the comeback :o), Seris ult wombo combo perfection and HIIIIREEEEEZZZZ!!!!! That's the game for ya. Both... Both are gud. XD

The Grover ult is a great thing. How many times to you press ult, get no healing and die instantly and lose your whole ult? This is a good fix.

You and me both Jayflare, I played the game since 2016. I feel so burned out playing it, now I'm enjoying Genshin too. The problem with that game now is I don't have enough heroes wit to level up Yanfei.

Ya I got pretty burnt out from the game myself for quite a while. Id say the 120 tier battle passes and some other things caused it. I ended up missing some decent skins. Nothing big, but I did miss the Sweet Shop Evie (I'm sad), so I hope they end up bringing that back. I myself have just gotten back into it and have been having fun in ranked. But honestly it may just be because Nessa is instabanned in it all the time. That's my speel. Also, hopefully they make the battle passes back to the 80 tier version. That one was the best by far. Not too long, not too short, and you actually got all 8 skins. It would add a good amount of replayability and stuff. Edit: Praying for Golden Evie for the patch after the one coming out.

As somebody who dabbled with Yagorath myself, I agree; Yagorath is not healthy for the game currently. She's like Raum, pumped up on crack/cocaine; you need counters to beat her, otherwise she just gets into the backline and doesn't die, or sits on the objective, harassing you with slow downs and poke. She beats basically everyone in a 1v1, but if she gets countered with coordinated team play, or by characters like BM Tyra, she just can't do anything. Raum is already pretty badly designed to begin with, and Yagorath is just Raum taken to the enth-degree

The reason why I started following you on YT is because your words are crisp clear and you explain things well. Like a tutor. A good tutor. The way you explained the aoc changes and discussions were great. You were the perfect bridge between us and the Devs. Anyway I wish you all the best for your endeavours. Yea I feel you, I have been playing actively every day for multiple hours since 2019 and got to about 3k hours and level 870. And in 2021 I only leveled about 30 levels, I simply do not have any motivation. Also have a smurf who is level 180.

His kit, playstyle, and everything about him is weird. They definitely tried something new and its not bad at all. But it just doesn't fit. Do what ya wanna do bro! Ps: I find playing Yag fun, but not easy to hold up against her hard counters. Glad she got nerfed, she is now relativly easy to counter even when no hard counter is present.

Im glad im not the only one that felt that way about yago. when she came out i was furious bc it didnt even feel like i was playing paladins anymore n now people rarely play her (thank god) . im getting tired of the darkness lore as well 😭 If im being honest i wish they had used the resources they used on yago for somethinf entirely different. Like yeah the concept is interesting but it doesn't feel liek paladins to me. Im also disappointed at the multiple lies the team told about torv rework and bringing back payload so im like, on my way to taking another break . plus the amount of dcs people in my teams have been experiencing makes playing awful nowadays.

Burn out is a thing ! Noone is expected to play a game 24/7 365d/y ! On the other hand i dont get the yago hate she has plenty of counterplay acros a ton of champions and her concept is really cool, personally the only times i saw frustration against her is when my team just ignored the healer, didnt attack her when she ulted and didnt pick a talent that counters her which is on them.

Also, massive respect for not running for the AoC this year because "your heart wasn't in it" because that means that you actually care for the game, and who should be in something as important as the AoC. well my opinion of yago is if she was never introduced, I wouldn't come back playing the game for 7 months straight her voice actor, personalty, art style and.. get ready.. her kit is amazing to me she wasn't like the last champs we got overly sexulized, already existing ability's and so on and so on (and this is kinda ironic since vora is my main) Besides, yago in a way gave paladins a new, fresh board to work on lore wise well.. 4 patches leatter we got an angry drunk lady with gun and as* as huge as skye's (and that is how I will remember her, well at least the last part of my description of her) I mean yeah I get it we all have the most hated champs and most loved champs on each of our tier lists (for exemple, I hate: every starter champion, tyra, kinesa, stricks, rei, octavia, lian, moji and so on) so you hating on yago is your opinion and my opinion is I love yago and im glad she is in the game imagine if we all hated the same thing and loved the same thing that is why we have opinions

I completely disagree about yagorath, she has an inherit flaw, which is her very limited range, contrasted with her chunky pool of health and decent damage, I believe they should simply nerf the cooldown of her movement ability or its speed and she will have perfect compensation for her strengths... She loses any 1v1 between yago and manyyy champions that can create a distance (almost all damage and flanks and most support and tanks), but wins those against stationary characters or slow ones like jenos, tyra, vivian, etc

No joke, I'm still confused how people are pissed of at Yago? She's like easy to deal with. I play Yago a lot myself and I get frustrated that I cannot kill anything with her. People just walk away and boom, she's useless. Sure, the Furia+Yago combo is frustrating, but that's an entirely different point. That combo was not Yago's fault.

Maybe since paladins is going back to being a casual game they can let tanks be fucking strong again so they feel fun to play and can at least stand up to that enemy dps that is carrying the whole enemy team sometimes thanks edit* But not yag, she can suffer being never picked cause shes so weak for the rest of her life thanks

This is another reason why they need to slow down with the new champs spam releasing, we have 50 champs! thats already huge, now take your time to improve the balancing and the game overall, add more maps for example (last one was 2 YEARS AGO), and a new (real) mode. The 50 champ rouster its reeeally enough.

Taco should of maybe been a boss event mode or something and the only time yago feels fine is when the yago player does not play too aggressive so then it feels ok because I don't have a problem with taco there are other champions that are more annoying

"Yago ruined the game" No, she didn't. Yagorath can be banned and is banned. Casually, no one is smart enough to abuse her on all cylinders. Ranked wise, if not banned, shes countered by so many picks and a shred of awareness which past Diamond 2 and 1 is where people actually do know what theyre doing. Tyra, Grohk, Bomb King, Drogoz, Vora to an extent, Ash, Inara, Fernando, Koga the list goes on and on. Yagorath was the moment that Paladins players learned they sucked at countering in Diamond 2 or lower. In masters, where I sit, shes not much of a problem. Shalin, Atlas, and Khan are more of a threat and a "ruiner" of games thay Yago by far. If you didn't like her, that's fine I respect that. But to claim she ruined her because people Diamond 3 and lower cry because they dont want to hop off their meta picks for 5 minutes and learn to counter is not the problem of Yagorath but of the community. If this is what AOC represents then... damn no wonder this game is a mess.

I know that feel, Paladins does not know how to take care of its champions. Torvald can't be played as nothing: neither tank because he does not ressist, neither as damage/flank because he clearly does not have THE damage needed for that, neither as support because you need actually someone that heals and it feels like if you use him like a secondary kind of support you are losing someone that could be doing any other lane perfectly so you're missing damage. Plus with wrecker in the shop he only is useful on the early game IF & ONLY IF the flanks and damages of his team are good. And guess what? Community is toxic and never plays what the games need, there is always the tank/support issue, and in my case I'm tired to have to fill in every single game. I feel that if you don't play this thing with friends...is better not to play at all. Jay, don't play Paladins if you feel is an "obbligation" for you. Just enjoy your free time with whatever you want. 😘
