Madonna sampled this on "Hung Up". ABBA rarely, if ever, allows sampling of their songs, but it was reported that Madonna, a big fan of ABBAs, wrote to them begging to sample "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" and they relented.

One of the best reactions to this song. I would have never really known about Abba, unless it was for my dad. He was a teenager during the height of Abba. Always told me about how he worked the family chicken farm all week and would get off on Friday early and go to the disco. They called him Disco Danny (because he had the moves almost parallel to Travolta in Saturday Night Fever). His name is far from Danny though. My mom still pokes fun at him for it because she was his rock n roll queen. She met him during the time, when he was 19 and she was 22. Apparently he would also wear a suit to the club too. Wore a maroon one to their wedding in 1988. All in all, Abba is a family classic for me.

For fun, watch the movie Mama Mia. The play was based on all ABBA music then made into a movie. 2 hrs of ABBA music. Husband rolls his eyes whenever it comes on because he knows ABBA will be in his head for then next few days.

Jamel you made my night!! You may have made my whole weekend. Out of all the dozens of favorite ABBA songs, this may be the alltime favorite. If you did Voulez Vous, I'm not sure I could stand it.

I can't believe that out of your Abba reactions, you still have not done two of their best, "SOS", and "Fernando"!!!!!

Well that's an awfully deep pool, of course. Not to mention Jamel reacts to other things besides ABBA, and some of those acts are giant rabbit holes as well...
