Wow amazing performance by Boston Celtics and the whole team that has sacrificed so much for their team and their teammates they totally deserved this win by the way they played this game and this game one . If they keep playing like they played this series and elevating their game to adjust to their opponents they will definitely win the championship this year. And it definitely starts with winning the second round of this series Amazing and good job by the whole Celtics on the defense end and the offense end of the floor.This is what the Celtics is supposed to do if they want to keep advancing to the third and thr fourth and fifth round and when the NBA championship including beating who is awaiting them in the later rounds. This was a great night for Jaylen Brown and Derrick White who lead the Celtics this game.

I'm so happy Luke got lightly injured. When I seen him come out again this game I was like no Fn way Joe, are you kidding me? As expected, we got smoked quickly in those minutes. Oshae comes in and can run with these guys and was awesome instantly. Not sure if we get that if Luke doesn't injure his wrist. With that said, I hope Luke's wrist is good and was not a big deal. Moving forward though, Joe hopefully realizes Oshae is who he needs for an extra body against Indy.

Jimmy butler, Donovan Mitchell, now Haliburton.... The way things are going, if we make the Finals, either Luka or ANT will get injured too. And that sucks because all the Boston haters would put an asterisk next to our championship if we win. Still, it was so good to see JB go ballistic in game 2 and everything start clicking for the Cs on both ends.

Nice to finally get a G2 win! Mission's not over though. have to go to indy and play with desperation to win G3 as if they lost game 2. on to the things i liked and disliked: liked- 1. JB deserves this #1 spot. he played under control, had great shot selection and played through a minor injury. definitely was an absurd snub for all-nba and to a lesser extent all-def. I pegged white to be the EC MVP, but after this masterclass, i'm changing my call to JB winning it. he has been the most consistent celtic these playoffs. 2 speaking of d.white, this will go under the radar but he was super clutch in this game. Remember that time when indy pulled to within 3? who staved off the run to give the celtics separation? here's 4 celtic possessions that happened after that: a. d.white layup b. d.white dunk that should've been a 3 point play c. d.white drive into a pass for a JT layup d. d.white 3 3. Saw Joe change the defensive coverages and put Al on Siakam like i called last time. sure siakam got hot but we werent getting beat by the others anymore. less 3s too. Good adjustment by Joe. I want to see this continue in G3. it made indy's offense stagnant. bonus: shoutout to brissy for coming in cold and being a pest on defense. 3 steals! disliked- 1. i have been a staunch defender of JTs lack of scoring but this was his worst game of the playoffs. there was a stretch towards the end of the 2Q where he just disengaged on defense, like he let his misses affect his effort on D and the boards. and yeah look at his boards this gam. he had a good stretch in the 2nd half but his defense and rebounding were below his usual standards. 2. X looked lost and disinterested in garbage time. why did we play him? just let him grieve his dad's death for now and play Queta. its garbage time anyway and hes matched up vs. isaiah jackson. i dont want to see X in G3 if hes still not ready to play. play Brissy and queta instead (assuming luke is injured). 3. Carlisle pulled his starters midway through the 4Q. IMO Joe should've rested his starters/not risked injury with a 15+ point lead and the pacers bench in with 3m to go. better to give playoff experience to the bench guys and to get sam, brissy and pp into a rhtyhm. This was all the more important for Jb as he was managing a minor injury. Great to shut up the haters for a bit and have them grasping at straws to fault these celtics. I'd like to see a better start for boston in G3 especially if Hali's out. have to show that killer instinct and not give indy any confidence that they can hang with them. Let's go Cs! Beat indy!

#NBA did JB7 dirty, he made 2nd team a year ago plays better this season leading his team to a possible Championship and don't make none of the teams. NBA award voting is becoming full of crap, they have Haliburton on there and he can't even play both sides of the court! #7uice putting them on notice clearly the biggest SNUB! Jayson is a first team ALL NBA as he does everything and plays almost all positions on the court and when he doesn't get 30pts it looks mundane but he is a complete player most complete young player. JB is a beast, they just slapped the lion in him in the face. Every Championship team has had a run of luck and #Celtics have earned theirs!

The game was just a great display of working the adjustments. I felt that the Celtics used the Pacers quick offensive against them and obviously their defensive was not equipped to deal with it. Several possessions each half where JB just caught the ball and exploded to the rim which ended up either at the line shooting FT or layup. We weathered the storms well and I think the game plan was definitely to reduce Halliburtons scoring, loads of passing denial to him. Considering they like to run quick offence I saw that the Pacers ran with Siakum if Tyrese didn’t get the ball. Also, Halliburton missed those crazy jack up 3’s, law of averages doing its thing there. But overall I felt JB understood the game plan well and just went for it, hence the 40 points.

Oh and I called it before but Brissetts minutes were pretty big in my opinion. We saw Kornet not making an appearance in the second half, but Brissey brought it, and in the 2nd half made some quality plays. Let him loose, he’s good to go. He may not be a scoring phenom but he recognises the game well.

First: I hope Halliburton is good and comes back. I want him to play. My point: THIS is why days off matter. People who think 5 days off doesn't matter rarely understand that injuries happen when the body is fatigued and under recovered. That hamstring tweak was NOT epic, but the result of fatigue and muscles that are running on fumes. The muscles need TIME to heal.

They have been avoiding talking about each other, in general. I am thinking they are doing it on purpose. I think they are feeding off of the hate.

Lol, he felt snub ? $61 million a year.....but I get the point. Craic sauce: I'm from Boston. I live in California. When did New Englanders start putting hot sauce on everything. I ordered just French toast here in California, and the waitress mindlessly slammed hot sauce on my table. I bring my own maple syrup, cinnamon, garlic salt, and local bee keeper honey to restaurants with me.........hot sauce burns my tongue and then I can't taste the food......THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !!😢😢😢😢..........Don't like my crying ?? What about Tatum, Luka, and big cry baby Draymond"s crying to refs ?? Keep the crack out of craic sauce !

We switched places... born and raised in CA. Los Angeles. Now on the North Shore of Boston. I miss taco trucks and spicy food! Enough of baked scrod LOL.

@Robin-xt7yo Ok, I agree, but there's other flavors than hot sauce. My father is from Barbados; he used a lot of hot sauce. I like Filipino and Japanese food. Almost every Sunday after church, I ate Filipino food. Every month at San Diego Japanese Christian Church, I ate Japanese food. I like homemade Chinese food. Did you see that shot by Doncic tonight ?

Cutting Al Horford's minutes to 25 was smart. Cutting Luke Kornets minutes is key to making it much harder to win a title

Outside the two legends that third team all NBA is garbage compared to JB. What an awful snub just to hate on the Celtics. Thats the treatment they get for playing at a high level while all those other better players watch from home

It's a glorified popularity contest these days. Which makes me wonder how the f tatum made first team because just about everyone around the league hates his guts. Leonard damn sure should not have been anywhere near an all nba team. Best team, best record, the performances are there. Just a shit take on the "best of the best".

career *TYING 40 points. the takes would be more valid if u hadnt ignored Jaylen all playoffs long in favor of talking about how great Jayson Tatum’s pick setting has been 🙄

Tying a career playoff high is the same as a getting a new career high it is still a game in which you've scored the most you've ever scored in the playoffs

Nothing wrong with talking about JTs pick setting. Those kinds of little things that help teams win dont get talked about enough. Screen assists, potential assists, hockey assists, knowing when to cut or lift (like if there was a cutting assist jrue or kp would lead the team), etc. Its good to point out to the national media how our guys, while hated and ridiculed, still manage to win.

John has been giving Jaylen flowers all Playoffs long and he constantly talks about the strides he has made as well as his maturity. He was adamantly pissed that he didn't make the All-NBA in yesterday's podcast. So much so that he almost dropped the F-bomb. I don't know what your issue is.

@@LockedOnCeltics what adjustment are you talking about? Kornet got hurt turning a negative into a positive time on the court. The opposing teams best player got hurt. And the supermax player started playing like one.

Actually let me be fair. Offensively the were better prepared and exploited matchups well. They also appear to have found tendancies they can be exploited. I didn’t play in the nba john. You did i think. Doesnt a position coach handle most of those things? Not the offensive sets as much as helping with tendancies and counters?
@HerbieRecato
@HerbieRecato 22 күн бұрын
@@neurodiversityininsurance Yeah u're right Kornet got hurt but Joe could have picked a big like X to replaced him. Instead he used Oshae and deploy a small-ball lineup. Other adjustment he did defensively was that he put JB to guard Turner. Turner had a great 1st half in G1. Offensively, they targeted Hali more in the PNR.
