Great video! I tried a used RSD JJ5 at guitar center, and it’s one of the best sounding easy to play 5 strings I’ve ever played. Thinking about getting one soon, all my fenders have had nut and tuning machine problems, always needing to be replaced. Hopefully sadowsky will be better.

Yes, Roger now owns the trademark in China now so all MetroExpress basses will feature the Sadwosky logo.

True. The Metro Express series is more affordable ($1,000-$1,200 USD range) but still mid-priced. I'm in Canada so they're like $1,500+ which is still out of my price range.

Nella mia vita ho avuto quasi tutti i bassi hi-end che esistono al mondo: pensa, ho avuto un Tobias prima ancora che venissero importati in Italia, nel 1988. Semplicemente un Sadowsky non vale i soldi che costa. Piuttosto tu procurati un cervello e un pò di umiltà, che sei TROPPO arrogante.

I know I'm gonna get hate for this but here goes... Fender might be an industry standard but I feel like most basses have more personality/life/better tone than Fender. They just seem lifeless and flat to me. That Sadowsky sounds great though.

Fender is boring and basic, but you can't go wrong with them. Producers know exactly what they're getting when they record one. I get the appeal even if I'm into more adventorous stuff like ESP and Spector.

That makes a lot of sense to me. I'm not producer or anything, but I have a 70's Jazz bass that has TOO much personality, and sometimes that does not match what the song asks for... I feel that basses with more flat tone would sound better in such cases. But seems really cool when you find a bass with a certain personality that matches what the song asks for.

Why buy something like this when you can get the real FENDER, the new American Ultra sound and play amazing , why buy a copy of the real thing?

Fender ultra is a garbage try to find a used fender elite I owned one 2018 and it’s a beast I will buying one of the sadowsky v2 rust maple morado and I will upgrade the electronic to svt
