My opinion on why Tatum worded it that way is because hes simply tired of all this talk about trying to split him and JB up. They've been talking about splitting them up all these years because they couldnt get the ring, now they get the ring and now they're still trying to split them up, after the fact. To think Tatum and Brown dont communicate amongst each other shouldn't be a topic of discussion. They were friends years before they even got to the league. So Tatum saying he hasnt talked to Brown is more about him trying to move on from the bait question, cuz he doesnt honestly owe anybody anymore info about it. There is no right answer to that so he's simply just trying to move on to the next topic, but these "expert" journalists ask the dumbest questions.

In all honesty, JT is jealous that he didn't win FMVP. Let's clarify - JB was the best player on the floor. His defense won them the series. I have not seen anyone defend Luka as JB did. Right now you can´t argue White being a better defender than JB, but he is a better 3-point shooter, which could be necessary, and the fact that he plays he's role better than anyone else in the league

Derrick White was announced as the team USA alternate MONTHS AGO! Before even the playoffs happened so the fact that Jaylen Brown is even acting like this just happened is hilarious and totally out of pocket. The decisions had already been made so there was no shock to anyone who actually knew the plan going into the Olympics. Jaylen thought that now he is the finals MVP he would be chosed bu the lineup was already set and they just stuck to it, simple as that
