@@christinegelabert1651 I don't think she performs anymore. She retired years ago and has suffered from poor health. In 2013, she had a stroke. In 2016, she was diagnosed with intestinal cancer and she also underwent a kidney transplant. She wrote a memoir discussing her illness and her retirement.

Tina can sure Rock! She's from Nutbush, Tennessee. I didn't know that until a few years ago. She needs to be in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

This crowd was here to see her! No one could have followed her! She kicked ass wherever she performed! One in a million. Who could dance like that in four inch heels and she was known for her great legs!

She was so beloved in the UK from the late 60s onwards. But in the 80s it was a whole new level. She is adored in the UK.

At 61, Tina had more talent and energy in her pinky finger than most performers have in their entire bodies in their 20s. At 44, she was on her way with her first number one single, "What's Love Got To Do With It." She still holds the record for a female artist playing before the largest crowd. This 2000 tour saw her play to 2.6MM people and make 180MM USD. What a lady, one that will NEVER be topped or forgotten. We will always love Tina!

I WAS THERE FIRST ROW !!! The most AMAZING things ever! Saw both nights at Wembley - hundreds of thousands of people and the energy....and TINA THE QUEEN, almost 61 here..... She is the greatest STAR and entertainer of all time..... 💗💗💗

I knew her dancing when I was a lottle girl. I am now in my 50s and blind and in a wheelchair, but when this came on I was doing the arm & head movements when my DH walked in the room. He stopped and said in amazement, "oh my god, you are doing the movements in time with Tina!". Um, hello...my dad watched her perform this as many times as they would play it on tv.

I was in Vegas in the late 60's when she was performing at the smaller rooms. The line for her shows was always out the door. One of a kind!!!

@@fleaflicker1451 Elvis was working the big show rooms at that time but the Ike and Tina Turner Review were the underground word. The people knew. The energy was out of sight!! No reservations or reserved seating for the smaller rooms so if you wanted to see her you had to be there very early.

In Europe, Tina isn't simply a Star, a Superstar, or one of the Greatest Female Rockstars ever. She is absolutely regarded as THE GREATEST STAR on EARTH of ALL TIME!! In her Fans Eyes, she is "SIMPLY THE BEST!" TINA RULES THE WORLD! And she is well aware of that extra love and devotion her fans have for her in Europe, and no doubt one of the reasons she chose to live there many years ago. I saw her in Louisville, KY on her last tour 24/7 in 2000.Lineal Richie opened up for her.She was like 60 or 65 at the time.Her body still absolutely fabulous, tons of costumes changes,non stop singing and dancing for 2hours,voice still the same,amazing.Oh yes the energy in Freedom Hall that evening was raising the roof!!Good times💛✌

Oh man... You should listen to the Ike and Tina Turner version. Ike(former Husband-Mgr) is Tina's foil in the beginning. That is the version that most people heard on the radio. This is after she finally dumped Ike. But deservedly so. When you get some free time, do yourself a favor and listen to the Ike and Tina version.

She's 60 or 61 here I believe and Tina's concerts always sold out to the very end and here's a prime example why, first off, she sounds AMAZING live, second, her performances, they were always high energy and top tier and she loved her fans dearly and was a performer and entertainer through and through and loved doing it.. truly, when you attended a Tina Turner concert, you got a Tina Turner experience ❤❤ great reaction. Tina was one of a kind. I'm a white lady an im 74 yrs old an I simple love her music. Especially Oroud Mary an then as she got older an toured at Wimberlly an different places in other countries. She would out dance all the young ladies in her group. She was a preformed. Simple love her. Queen of rock an roll.! I still like to dance to her tours! For over 2hrs on stage putting on a show. No one else can keep up with her. Her last tour she done she was 69yrs old an no one else could do that. 50yrs worth . Tina put on her own shows An was in the whole show. She gave audience there money's worth.

When the original Ike & Tina Turner version came out [you gotta watch/listen to that as Tina Turner 101] I was five years old- my aunt was OBSESSED w Tina T. and so we learned the complete Proud Mary dance routine together. I'm the only old woman alive that can now dance like Tina Turner at the drop of a hat. You won't be sorry if you listen to more Tina, Javon... try 'Simply The Best'

Tina Turner is sensational, saw her in concert in Manchester, UK 🇬🇧, she was well into her 60's, the energy and the way she moved on the stage was unbelievable. She had an incredibly tough life early on, her ex husband Ike was awfully abusive to her. She is a very strong, brave women who has battled very poor health in the last decade or so. A true legend if ever there was one, thanks J.

At the age Tina was there I was in a wheelchair and I remember watching this and thanking God there was others who could still walk and dance. Tina has so much energy coupled with her wonderful voice and her gorgeous figure she is someone I admire. She gave her all in every performance and not miming, dancing and singing live that's talent!! Jayvee it is wonderful to you enjoy every moment, I don't think you have stopped smiling bless you. One of the Best Concerts I Ever had the good fortune to see was Tina Turner. San Francisco. We were sitting in the middle, 5 rows from the Stage. That Lady was/is/Always will be the Best! In my opinion. Her Voice and Energy are Incredible!! God Bless Her.

I know that many of you young reactors don't know which performers are legends. Well, Tina is one of the legends. Believe me, no one had to follow her this night. Tina was the headliner.

This is one of those songs that I've grown up with. I was born in '68, and I think Ike and Tina first recorded it in either '68, or '69. CCR and Elvis both covered it in the 70's, and it's been covered several more times since then. I don't think I've ever heard a version of it that I didn't like, but no one else's version had quite the same feel, or quite as much energy as the original.
