BLVXK GXLD IMPERIAL although I used the word literally I was just observing the clear influence jaz had on jay z from rhyme pattern, getting his first real exposure on jaz projects, etc. anybody who fucc with jay(my favorite all time) know that jaz, biggie and Kane were the mcs he looked up to most, so I was just stating MY educated guess. Peace. Edit: jay said it himself on “jigga what/jigga who” I believe - “the originator none greater / jaz-o finish this shit...js. And on “bring it on” on reasonable doubt, although I think jay had the better verse jaz held his own and it showed how much respect jay had for jaz to give him the last voice

I ran into Jaz on Marta at the Decatur Station in Atlanta back in 2010. He had braids under his NY fitted rockin' it real low on some incognito. I walked up to him and said, "Yo Bro, you can't hide under that hat, people like me know when their in the presence of greatness!! He smiled and laughed! I told him I been making tracks for years and wish that I could build with him on some work. We swapped numbers but we couldn't connect due to unforeseen reasons but I remember asking him if he could give me some advice on how to break in the industry to get my work heard with a close ear. His exact response was, "Protect your shit, don't let nobody steal your shit because they will"!! So, I'm so proud and honored to see you getting your just do again my friend, I support you 1000% and wish you more than the most Big Bro!! Hope to cross paths with you again one day fam! PEACE!!!

@@noid6720 I started IN that "Golden Era" of Hip Hop! I programmed my first beat on a Boss Dr. Rhythm!! Well, before that it was recorded on a Box by hitting record and play and beating on da Bunk Beds!! It was 🔥 tho!!! Lol! Ohh forgot to add, I was 11 yrs old when first touched that Dr. Rhythm!

You still make beats and are into sampling ? I've been looking to find a beat maker and work on a project not defined by what the music has become today

@@noid6720 Without Question Bro!! I've mastered the art of sampling, so much so, the sample can't be detected, it becomes an instrument! No need for "Sample Clearances"! But some still sample with the intention of it being detected because they want to leverage the popularity of the sampled song and capitalize off that sample's success. But I prefer to show originality when sampling, which shows your artistic expression of it.
