@@SiwahCorner wow...really. as a jazz musician myself I find jazz to be the most loosely confined of all musical styles, with the slight variations of tempo, dynamics, mood, etc....to be both impactful and actually a sign of great musicianship. Not arguing that my opinion is correct, everyone has their own correct opinion. Love your reactions anyways ! :>)

Jefs, no you have to follow the correct music tempo. A singer cannot change the song tempo from the way It was written by the song-writer.

@@lilimiguelez4072 Are you saying that you have never heard of a singer putting their own tempo, timing, or style into a song that they sing?? Many singers do that and often times in doing so make the performance better than the original. I respect your opinion but I disagree and I submit that the numerous singers that sing songs THEIR way probably disagree also.

Yes, she was out of tempo one time... on another song she did it a couple of times... and I couldn't care less. She is a one of a kind.

I’ve sang contemporary blues, traditional blues, progressive jazz, country, rock, gospel, and spiritual. There is more improvisation in jazz than any of the other genres. improvisation in tempo , improvisation in harmony and melody. If you take liberties with the tempo then leave the others recognizable. She did that. She stayed in the box on the melody. She was behind the beat starting a phrase but ending on the beat at the end of the phrase. (This is also a technique used by Willie Nelson a country artist who cut his teeth in jazz) it may sound alien to you but All modern jazz sounds alien to me because I don’t recognize the resolution at the turnaround but I don’t say that’s not right because it sounds off. I just say that modern jazz is too sophisticated for my ears. When you break down what she does, see if she is consistent on her phrasing. Also listen to her track. Is it off and does she have to compensate. I’ve heard some of her songs at the beginning of her learning. They were off but when she released them they were spot on (but different than the version she was covering) now I want you to do a comparison reaction to Daneliya Teleshova’s Love On The Brain studio version and live version and tell me why this 11 year old changed it up.

Yeah, now I know that, that it is a way she loves to do. She loves to own covers, rewriting sometimes: but this kind of tempo is her special mark.

It was surprising, because she generally did a great job. I'm sure most people do not even hear it. ;-)

For me, she wants to sing it shorter/faster, so that it could look like she is out of tempo. When I hear her many other live songs, she is exactly right on time. Only a couple of times she wants to start about 3 seconds ! to fast/to early with going on in the song, but in last moment she noticed it and go away from the micro. 3 seconds later she startet with going on in perfect time. For me it is wonderful. it is perfect. Thank you Siwah for reaction, for me it`s very interesting what other people say about Angelinas songs.... Specially the reaction when Angelina starts to sing..... :)

I see what you mean, but do you think the focus of this song should be on one or two words coming out of her mouth later than you expected? I really don`t understand that.
