Ya know now that I think about it, Jazza going for a huge sculpture might not be as backwards as you’d immediately assume. It’s really the tiny details that are a bitch with chainsaw art. They’re meant to cut huge portions of wood apart not be precision tools. You’d have to ask a chainsaw expert lol

I feel like I started watching jazza when he was a starving artist and now he's rich or close to it and I'm thrilled for his journey every artist should be able to make a living from their passion humans do their best work when they're free to explore their passions and work for themselves than working for someone else at a job they can't stand

As a former forest and logging museum director I say kudos for getting professional assistance, and paying attention to direction, especially in changing blades. The trick to standing the sculpture easily upright would be to dig out and bevel a little space on the ground in which it would sit. Always keep safety in mind on your farm and enjoy the fresh air! That glint in your eyes was beautiful to be part of. 😍 Can't wait for part two. I do hope you manage to get a horse out of that huge peice of wood, that's shrinking by the minute. I have faith in your skills with kinesthetic learning and hopefully your local log sculpter pro gives you the tips uou need to get to the finish line 😉 P.S. I love your "adds". When I have seen chainsaw artists in person they have had a full table with multiple sizes of chainsaws plus other fine-tuning wood shaping tools. So they regularly changed tools during the process. The one time I saw an artist do everything with only one saw it was much larger and more powerful because it was gas-powered. Using a smaller, battery-powered chainsaw made this project a lot more difficult so kudos to you for the struggle. 🙂👍

I live super close to a couple chain saw sculptors and frequently find their art deep into hikes or trails. It's always exciting and amazing to come across the pieces. There's also a local chainsaw art festival, so we get to see pieces from lots of different artists there and scattered throughout the local areas in people's yards or porches it's an art form I'd never touch and greatly admire.

I just wanted to say, thank you for being willing to ask for help. It's a great influence on your audience that you don't need to keep bashing your head against a brick wall and asking for help is not a sign of weakness but a way to achieve more. Asking for help is important, especially amongst male Aussie culture where they tend to embrace a fair bit of toxicity, even if that gets in the way of what they want. "You can't do everything on the first try? What are you, a wuss?" It's silly to say the least, downright damaging at times, and especially when doing potentially dangerous things like working with huge heavy items, heavy machinery and chainsaws, some help should be sought.

Happy early birthday Mrs. Jazza. I love your videos. No real clickbait where you see the beginning and end and never the middle. So when people try to do it, they give up because they think this is instantaneous and don't meet their expectations. Your enthusiasm is contagious.

Always love your dabble then do approach to art. I think too many people see a finished product, done by an artist who has worked with a medium and/or process for an extensive amount of time, and try to emulate it with their first attempt essentially failing to meet their expectations. Thus, they give up entirely out of frustration. Your videos really reinforce that one needs to learn and understand the process and limitations of the medium they are working in, then do some trial and error testing before taking on the real deal. Love your content and can’t wait for part two.

And for a lack of world formula assume all the security measures I am to lazy to list right now.

This comment about getting chaps is way too far down. It's horrible to see what a chain does to bare flesh. Yes when a chain snaps it goes normally towards the face, but a simple slip or stumble and he can cut into his leg causing major damage. @Jazza @josiahbrooks if you read this. Please get yourself some chaps.
