The competitors in this price category had better be on their guard, there is a new kid on the block who has some serious genetics from its parents! Ok, silly question, is this at least 2x better than the Klipsch Fives for desktop listening? It’s 4x the price so wondering if it’s worth the price. I have the Fives and love them…but have the upgrade bug 🐛

A dream design would to have eArc, optical, coaxle, and usb input. Seems like all designers want to leave one of these out. In fact I wish all devices would scrap all formats except for USB since it can now handle audio and video as well as any other format.

Nice looking cabinets.Im a die-hard JBL nut, but.....there are two generations of speaker audiophiles when it comes to loudspeaker design. One of them is those that are more 'savvy' to the well-known and established 'passive' design, and there are the new generation who are being coersed and influenced by the big-tech companies to adopt the new 'active' system. Don't get me wrong, I own a JBL Boombox 2 that can produce incredible sound, but personally, I prefer the passive design, hands down. I don't like how new technology is interfering with what we can do for ourselves. They think everyone wants tech to do everything for us? I'm a mobile DJ and I had an embarrassing experience with a pair of 18" active subs I purchased a few years back. Never again. I ended up swapping them for ×2 JBL JRX 18 passive'es. To sum up, I would never recommend active drivers for 'big-rig' set-ups. Their best staying at a nice home.

No eArc connection?? That was dumb to not have that.. It would make more sense to just buy the cheaper Klipsch Fives that sound pretty good out of the box already. With the money saved from not buying the JBL’S could add a damn good subwoofer to the set of Klipsch Fives that would sound way louder and would have clean hard hitting bass.

You need to hear these before you make that judgement. Yes, eArc would have been nice, but these sound the best of any speaker like this we have ever heard by a mile. Thanks for watching

Do these have auto input selection? For example it I had it set to xlr in but started casting from my phone would I have to switch the input manually?

Any idea how these would stack up against the KEF LS50 Wireless IIs or the Buchardt A500s? I'm going to pull the trigger on one of these three just having a hard time figuring out which.

Not listened to the Buchardt's, but the jbl's sound better than the LS50's IMHO, but not in the same league as the Q acoustics q active 200.

Two different animals. For pure audio quality, these are better to us since you can do a true stereo pair and there is far more cabinet size for improved bass. The Omnia still is the best all in one box unit we have heard though.

I would choose the Vifa Stockholm 2.0... If jbl sounds better than its really worth the price but I doubt it.

So...the JBL 4305P versus the JBL 705P....too similar to NOT mention here.

The JBL 705P is a great speaker used by professionals all over the world. However it does not have anything other than a line level input, no wifi, bluetooth or USB. But it does use higher end drivers. Thanks for watching

Those speakers are a joke. No RCA input to connect a turntable, no HDMI-C... but balanced inputs. Why?

They trickled down from their professional series. HDMI ARC would have been nice but they do have Toslink. The sound is still some of the best we’ve heard as they are fully bi-amped. Thanks for watching.
