Just a heads up. This video is the only video and model I have about headphones replacement. Please stop asking me about other models or asking for links to other replacement pads for other models. This video is a 1 off from what this channel is about. These are the only pair I have replaced. If I have to replace a different pair I will cross that bridge when I get to it.

Really useful video, just a small note, these are physically identical for fit as the JBL E500BT, I've just fitted a set of Kwmobile ear pads for an E55BT to my E500BT headphones.

Do they feel like the ones that come with the headphones? Btw, love your video! Glad I found someone on the internet giving a tutorial on replacing them because mine are so worn out

Thanks for watching. The replacements are actually nicer than the original. They don't have they weird cheap rubbery texture after a few months of use. The main problem with the originals was the quality control. The fake leather would actually melt away from body heat and skin oils after a few months, as this was problem with mine. The replacements haven't done that yet and as you can see it's been several months since I've replaced them circa whatever the date stamp is on this video. They're still as good as the day there were replaced.

Hi uh is there any way im able to replace the foam that's placed on the top of the headphones? The foam along the headband. Btw my headphones are JBL TUNE500BT

My adhesive tape didn't come off but it didn't stick at all! I saw reviews and the red M3 tape version is apparently weak and bad. JBL used the white one like yours. Very weird, I had to use super glue and try multiple times in order to finally secure them. Edit: Also and unrelated, but to my surprise after picking up the parts I need to throw out JBL manufacturers themselves forgot to peel off the ring part of adhesive on the original part, I found out after opening them!🤣 Way to good, JBL!

Took me two tries because first sticky tape ring tore in half when something slipped out of my hands. You don't even really need a ring, just 4 contact points, so 4 tiny pieces of strong double sided tape and the cover and all it really takes. I'm going to take a custom job for the second one and report back.

thank you for this nice tutorial.i believe JBL is responsible for using bad material, it is not the result of wrong using. Don't they think to take responsibility for that?

I have 3 pairs and 1 & a half of them had this issue. Definitely a manufacturer defect with poor materials used. My replacement cushions are great and have not had this issue.

I bought some replacement pads... They let in too much noise during my noise-canceling mode. just find some double side tape or something less adhesive to put between the pads. The noise will reduce dramatically.

I'm not sure friend. I'd assume that the JBL E65 would be larger, but I could be wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️ i only have the E35 and E55bt.

@@killergaming4748 not available anywhere bro. Apparently even Jbl doesnt make them. But if your headphones are under warranty you can get a free replacement for the whole product

These will not. Each pad is designed specifically for each model. Thats how they get us. ☹

You can't. It's not dirty, the material has worn off completely. the materials are faulty on some models. It a factory quality control issue.

I believe so. As far as the process of replacing the cushion goes. The 45 is a different size obviously 🤷🏻‍♂️. Of course I do not own the JBL 45bt's. So your guess would be as good as mine 👍🏻😎

Really disappointed you couldn’t remove it using your fingers to avoid causing scratches and damages but who cares!!! A Knife is always a solution to forcefully get something done quick and easy works like a charm everytime
