Regarding App connect/device sync issues. Resolved a long standing issue here with attempting to connect Eon app with a pair of 618s. Previously app would not find shit. Followed all forums and comment threads. Attempted factory resets, updates etc. Things were looking dire. When attempting connection via Bluetooth - ALSO enable location on your phone. Found it straight away. Im in and Subs are tuned.

I have two eon612 tops, and two eon618 subs... can I tune this system in one place or do I need to tune each individual speaker? I don't understand how anyone could tune a speaker with an an untuned sub, and then tune the sub, having to go back and retune the speaker that goes with it.

Hi, I have 2x JBL Eon and I normally use the blouetooh app to control the gain, is there any way to control all speakers at the same time?

Estou fazendo a manutenção de uma caixa da JBL EON615, preciso de suporte, o led azul do bluetooth da mesma fica piscando muito rapido e nao aparece sinal de bluetooth, antes, o problema original eram os capacitores de filtro da fonte chaveada: 4x1000x50v, 2x1000x35v e 2x470x25volts, ambos foram trocados por novos para até 105graus centigrados, e logo em seguida percebi o U10 com superaquecimento... as tensoes estão corretas: + - 35volts, + - 15volts e + 5volts... da pra ajudar???

My Samsung Galaxy S10 isn't connecting to my Eon615. When I try and sync it in the app, the speaker doesn't show up as available. If I go to my phones Bluetooth settings, it shows the EON16 as available in the connections, but when I hit the '+' button in the app, the speaker doesn't show up. It just keeps showing me a 'Refresh' button.

I also have S10 with Eon12, it connected both speakers the 1st time around. Make sure your phone's os is updated. I found the speakers in the BT list and tried to pair them, then window comes up for password 0000 or 1234. Then I opened the JBL app and both speakers appeared . Worked great, but after I reset everything I can only connect to one of them now. Weird.

Yiu have to allow the permissions it requests on initial setup, inistall the app then reinstall it.

Here's a useful trick you could clue us all in on: How to persuade EON Connect to pair up with a speaker that it readily connected with a few months ago? Seems like this app prefers to love 'em and leave 'em.

You need to make sure that the app is on the same device the speaker was originally paired with. Eg - if you paired to the speaker with your iPad and you’re now trying to connect with your phone, it will not work as it’s still connected to your phone. When in doubt, perform a factory reset.

@@Noisegate - That's what I mean. If I reset the speaker, I will lose its custom presets. What you're admitting is that once you've paired the speaker to a particular controller, there's no way to connect and control it with any other device, short of resetting the speaker and starting back at square one. Not only is that inflexible and unprofessional, it doesn't even work reliably. Because now the speaker has bricked itself and refuses to pair to its original controller or to anything else.

Thanks for clarifying, this was really confusing me. Short story, if you want to pair this speaker with any new device, you must Factory Reset the speaker every time. Here's how: 1. Disconnect any cables from the speaker and power the speaker off. 2. Hold down the EQ+ and Boot buttons while turning the unit back on. 3. When all of the lights on the back turn on, let go of the buttons. The speaker will then power back on normally.

not working on a Samsung A40...the app opens but what the home interface I see is not like the one in the above video. IE: no scan option when add speaker is activated and app crashes.

Advice/suggestion: Just go back to 3 knobs on the rear for a basic EQ? !! Do we really need EVERYTHING to be controlled by a phone or an I-pad?!

Does the bluetooth allow you to play music from your phone, and hear it through the EON610 ? Or is the purpose of the bluetooth strictly to handle volume and EQ type stuff? I bought the EON610 and I downloaded the app and my phone is controlling the speaker, but routing music from phone to speaker does not seem possible.

The back panel on my Eon12 get really hot after 1hr of use. Not working it hard only at 50% gain & 50% volume, limit light never comes on. Connected to DDJSX3 mixer main is -18db not passing 0db. Is it normal for that back panel to get very hot?

My Eon 612s get hot on the back plate too. They don't seem to be bothered by it, even while driving hard.
