so heres a little info because i feel like there is some missinformation passive radiators cant "bottom out" because when a speaker bottoms out the voice coil hits the basket but passive radiators dont have voice coils and the main speakers probably wont bottom out because the amp is not powerful enough even on low frequency with ac mode it takes more power and its really really loud

When it goes to its max "mechanical" limit like it's the maximum you can put out of it and then eventually it will clip/bottom out you know what I'm saying?

Chris G Plays Oh ok. How did u know that tho? I have a flip 4 and sometimes use low frequency mode. I hv found its a bit too dangerous for me tho so I stick with normal with an equalizer and add bass on that

Zackeroo HQ JBL Xtreme handles it better than flip 4, I had a flip 4 and I use to use this mode a lot (this mode is bad, rip my Xtreme.) The Xtreme won't break as easily, unless you abuse it too much, and you can only do this with Xtreme, and I think Boombox not sure about charge 3 and all that

Chris G Plays U can Use low frequency on charge 3. It works as well. Surprisingly the charge 3 is a little bit lower volume than the flip 4. My flip 4 sounds horrible on low frequency mode now so I keep it on normal or I use jbl connect mode cause that makes it sound better and louder (Idk if u knew this)
