Although I’m now retired from mechanical work I know a lot of people with Jeep Grand Cherokee either Hemi or diesel who have a lot of issues with them. I am a total MOPAR fanatic and own 4 off them in age from 1966-2010 and I would never have a jeep. They look great and present very nicely but mechanical issues abound. I’ve done a lot of courses on CAN BUS systems and some that have proprietary software are a PITA. Its also a reason the Americans are having a fight against companies like John Deere for the right to service their own farm equipment.
