Now that's an operator who knows what he is doing, fast, neat and precise, - even looks at the end of one piece to check the diameter is ok for the length he wants to cut, - maximum efficiency, minimum waste.

If necessary, the different types of timber are marked at the thinner end when cutting. (selected by the harvester driver, or the harvester computer). A distinction is thus made between different uses, or sometimes by thickness. Best regards Timo

So obviously there must be a spot on the head where a paint can is mounted and electronically activated on one of the buttons on joystick. .

@@wolfgangkohler2508 a tank is usually mounted to the tilt frame and then pressurized using a hydraulic powered pump. The nozzle is typically on the rear knife and is activated automatically just after sawing so that it paints the end of the log as it's falling to the ground.

Adios, lumberjacks. We don't need you anymore. One operator in a machine doing the work of twenty in a tenth of the time. With advances in AI, we won't need the operator either. Progress! I think.
