Mostly Nissan, and a few other models, some of NZ's best Skyline GTR, R32, R33, R34, R35 GTR and other Skyline, Silvia, Stagea, Laurel, Fairlady, and many more. New Zealand is doing it right! #gtr #turbo #carenthusiast

Moved to Australia years ago but I miss the cars and the culture, it’s good to see not much as changed, NZ still got good taste when it comes to cars

I wonder, is building a car in NZ way cheaper then the rest of the world, because a huge amount of high HP, sick build comes from NZ and AUS I have noticed Or do the s and r chassis owners had them waaaaay before prices went crazy ?
@Jimmy_WeiАй бұрын
No it’s still expensive, but really need time and patience to make the build better and better.
@tuned4lifeАй бұрын
@@Jimmy_Wei yeah true, I do have an imagine in my head that there are more fabs and ''tuner'' garages in NZ/AUS is that right ? Or it might be just that the whole scene is bigger then in most country's
@katzicaelАй бұрын
kiwis are just better at it
@crf450rlАй бұрын
Per head we would have way more people into cars, there's a lot of them that were imported in the 90s though, they're still relatively cheap, depending on your definition of cheap of course
@tuned4lifeАй бұрын
@@crf450rl yeah I think aside from Japan ofc, NZ and AUS has the most of these cars around. Didn't you also got the s15 officially?

Yo g R33 GTR is my I love the shape , the sound , but more the engine . I remember when I first got in to jdm cars an come to know of jdm car culture . As i was a young teen like everyone , I came from the side of the wrong side of the law , juvenile prison where I was growing up in my teens , until me an my bros did a earn , thinking we got away. We did for 2days until cops ligit caught the bro finger print . So when the cops knew they went to the bros arrested him , came to mine arrested me , but this time they had enough of me . Went to court but I got told for me to be clean record from future thing , you'll have to move away for 5years can come back but you live without going back to juvie. So I left , an went back to Whangarei , an there after I turned 16 , I join a Automotive course at this place called RTC regent training center for teens an young adult . Yo there g being different I adapted to the environment quickly , but that course I got to be 1 of 5 people to rebuild a whole R33 think s2 couple but engine swapped with forged rb26de+T manual everything . Paint it , sand it . Yo sadly it 2years from beginning to finish an only me an the bro I still remember Aroha , were the 2 to complete our task before 2years end , an passed ncea lvl 1, 2 , an now im in wellington im still studying my lvl 3 n 4 . But yo thats how I got in to jdm drift cars from beginning that r33gtrs plus T was the name Coupe s2 6speed gtr trans from gtr r33 , 3.5inch all the way thru twin shotgun exhausted , r33 big brakes all around ,heavy duty clutch , hydraulic hand brake , roll caged , kill switched it , had all these button to turn everything off an on like starting it , 550x58m garret turbo . Yo I remember that like yesterday, love that memory fr 😂❤

@@Jimmy_Wei for some reason especially down here in the south there always held when the weather's bad,the turn outs never amazing,and the mix of calibre is too much for me,and sometimes,maybe a lot down here they seem poorly organised.lol I probably just sound like an ashole.i enjoyed your footage though so not at all a reflection of this video.

@@timothylemons634 yep, agree sometime, also the tickets are getting more and more expensive 😅 I didn’t going into the event because cost too much to drive there and enter the venue
@timothylemons634Ай бұрын
@@Jimmy_Wei yeah you're right the price is high especially to enter and compete in events,so many people I know with highly modified imports that never go because of what's on offer for the cost,lack of promotion and venue being the main reasons
