Когда-то в детстве прочитала как раз про этот танец, а именно, что тут также должны быть тучи, которые должны постепенно расходиться при появлении солнца-Аполлона.

Как мне кажется, танец очень быстрый и больше напоминает современный балет. Тогда танец был более торжественным, придавалось значение позам, паузам и жестам.

Этот танец был написан специально для Людовика 14 . Он очень много танцевал и как говорили современники правил Францией с помощью балета. Аристократы которые не умели или плохо танцевали могли забыть о карьере. В некоторых балетных постановках которые длились более 12 часов Людовик танцевал главные роли, таким образом он подчеркивал свой атлетизм и силу.

En effet Louis XIV danseur guitariste et Lully a l origine des petits rats de l opera dans son opera le triomphe de l' amour. Je me rejouis d sller voir et ecouter cettr comedie ballet du bourgeois gentilhomme . Un lully que j ai decouvert a 4 ans " un siecle de musique a Versailles ".

?? Le duc d'Orleans, frere du roi et homosexuel, souvent travesti, etait entouré de ses amants a la cour. Versailles est aussi connu pour son libertinage et son ´club' pour homosexuels. L'homosexualité etait condamnée par l'Eglise mais la cour royale etait une exception. Lully tout comme Philippe d'Orleans etaient mariés et avaient des enfants. Il est difficile de penser que Lully ait eu des problemes du fait de son homosexualité.
