Последнее время я слушал исключительно пианистов исполняющих Баха. Остальная классическая музыка была мне не интересна. Как то простовата, что ли. А Баха могу слушать всегда, в любом исполнении и даже в джазовом стиле, например, Jacques Loussier. Стараюсь не пропустить ни одного нового пианиста. Но на конкурсах, где формально требуется полифония,так же часто можно услышать и формальное исполнение. И когда играют Баха для себя, а не для "галочки", это редкость. Екатерина Колпакова для меня не просто открытие, а целое событие! Когда впервые услышал её Токкату c-moll, ставил на повтор несколько раз подряд, не мог остановиться. Потом захотелось послушать и других авторов в её исполнении. К своему приятному удивлению сделал вывод: важно не ЧТО играть, а КАК! В её исполнении я слушаю всё подряд. Это чудо! Это сказка! Катюша, СПАСИБО!!!

Perfect and beautiful interpretation. I just started learning it but I use to play more minimalistic stuff (Glass, Satie, et cétera) any recommendation you can give me to be able to do it? I am not a professional player like you, only a passionate of the piano.

Privet Khatushka. One question. Are you still a student? Are you studying at Moscow Conservatory? I’m Mexican and most of my teachers were Russian or studied at Russian conservatories. That French piano piece is one I played during my school years.

Hello, Martin!No, I’m not a student anymore, I finished post graduate studies in Moscow Conservatory 7 years ago. Yeah, Russian teachers are some of the best in the world, I think. Cool, and if it’s not a secret, who were your teachers ? May be I know them:)

Katerina Kolpakova I had two piano teachers one from Austria, Ibere Gewehr. Another was Mexican but studied in the Gnessin Academy is Moscow, Teresa Tamez. There where several theory teachers I had Sergei Tibets from Ukraine and Svetlana Pirkova from Russia. I also studied with some Latin American teachers with Soviet education. One was cuban and the other Mexica, both studied at the Rimsky-Korwakow Conservatory

I don’t hear the birds. Too stacatto. Even the resonance of a harpsichord is able to ligate the notes to produce the appearance of birds. There’s a 13 yo girl that has been able to summon then since she was 7, look her up in YT.
