I just found her on Thanksgiving in my recommended on YT and I have fallen down a gloriously sweet hysterical YT rabbit hole of Jeanne’s routines that I may happily never leave. This woman is just everything, a really tall Betty White, but maybe even funnier than even Betty was.🙌

@@Pamela-yn8yo I attended her service online. This lady helped me keep my sanity during the scamdemic in Australia. I shared her stories with my family and friends. To know she and left brain have left the planet together, hard to explain the void😢

Only 16,000 people died from Covid in Australia and a mere 10 million got sick with Covid in your comparatively small country, many of whom will have horrid, dire side effects for life. It's the same scamdemic situation in the United States. There were a mere 1.07 million deaths and 97.5 million cases, many of whom will be sick for the remainder of their lives. Thank god it's only a scamdemic, for it could be far worse.

I'm so happy that new videos are still being posted. We had tickets to see her in a rare visit to Seattle in October 2020. Of course, the pandemic cancelled that! The event was rescheduled, and Jeannie died just before the new date. I remain bereft! Her humor and optimism have helped keep me going for many years. Rest in peace, Jeannie. I'm sure you're making perfect hook shots in heaven!

Was all set to see you in Seattle in October 2020 when that year completely exploded in our faces and you never got out on tour again…and then God got himself another angel. 😭 I truly enjoyed your specials from your house while we were all forced to avoid social contact. 🙄 We all miss you sweet lady!

Loved her skit. I grew up in IL. In 1977 I was up for a contest for a New Queen for the DeMalay of IL. Same rules applied for the pageant as she described. My crew forgot to take enough pictures of me before hand on the college campus. So, we started taking the pictures. Basically, by where we need to be next for the part of the contest wearing what everyone else. Had on. I told my crew just keep me covered up enough, so we don't get jailed for streaking down the aisle to the next event. That would have been a huge disqualification!! mom and dad

She might not have won the Miss America Pageant, but, she was selected by her peers to be Miss Congeniality.... big surprise ,not. . Everyone in Alamance County N.C. over the age of seventy remembers her....for good reasons.

I didn't realize Jeanne had passed away and then only a couple months after left brain. ....I hope there were pound cakes at the funeral dinner. It wouldn't have been right without them. Jeez.
