I am a teacher and she was at our beginning of year convocation about five years ago and we laughed until tears rolled and our stomachs hurt! She is fabulous!

Years ago, Jeanne Robertson was on my suggested list of videos. Out of curiosity, I watched, and I've been hooked ever since. I was sorry to hear of her passing. *head bowed* I won't get to see her live, but I enjoy the videos.

I am 81 hubby is 84 and we have been listening/watching you Jeanne fo a long time & there is no person we can imagine ever enjoying as much as we luv you. You are a national treasure. Unfortunately you are not Canadian but we will not hold that against you. This is for you Jeanne. I am a writer. What do you do when you are sad or simply unhappy. Huh? Well let me tell you folks listen up now, please listen. There is not one single, double, triplet out there that you will ever find. I love this lady, too. She is a completely wonderful storyteller who doesn't have to curse or talk filthy to be funny. I love that, finally, our nation has countless people who can see the humour in real life. Dry Bar Comedy is another site that has wonderful clean comedy.

This woman is Awesome. As a Southern Lady, I can relate to her humor and absolutely love her. You do not have to use ugly words to be funny. I was taught only unintelligent people use that kind of language. Thank you, Jeanne, for sharing your talent.

Frank Giordano of Manhattan College was published in the Yale Review of Undergraduate Research in Psychology, with a study showing no statistically significant correlation between cursing and IQ. There was a correlation between having a larger vocabulary and IQ. A Keele University study showed that cursing allowed subjects to tolerate discomfort (hand in a bucket of ice water) 50% longer than those who did not. A University of Rochester study did show a correlation between higher IQ and cursing. A study published in the Language Sciences journal noted the “Poverty of Vocabulary Myth” In a study that showed correlation between large vocabulary and fluency in language usage among those who swear. There are no valid scientific studies showing those who swear have lower intelligence. There are studies that show that those who swear are PERCEIVED to be of lower intelligence and social status by others. I.e. another case of people assuming those who don’t share their own beliefs and sensitivities are somehow less than themselves. But perpetuation of these “taboos” is beneficial to those who curse as a means of emphasizing their communication, etc. because the curse words are “bad” only because they are given that power. Interestingly, yet another study conducted in all 50 states assigned a number reflecting how much people swear and a number reflecting their integrity. Two states with the highest cursing also had the highest integrity. (CT, NJ). Some states with the least cursing scored very low comparatively in integrity (GA, AL). Suggests that a lot of people running around inaccurately feeling smarter than and superior to others who swear might just not be so nice or full of integrity themselves.

This is an impossible challenge!! I found this lady on KZfaq yesterday purely by chance and I laughed so hard at the spongee jumping I was in pain. I watched several videos and had a wonderful evening in the company of Mrs Robertson and KZfaq. I laughed almost as hard again at the spongee jumping clip but I hadn't seen the other two until now. You cannot possibly watch this amazing lady without laughing. She is a joy and thank you for doing this video (impossible challenge or not) :D

Her humor is refreshing and although I've seen her in person, and on KZfaq numerous times, I've yet to laugh out loud. Nothing against her, or other comedians, but laughter isn't a shared emotion in my family. Mrs Robertson has been the only one that's come close to make me laugh out loud. Enjoyable lady.

So far as the bungee jumping goes, she's telling a true story. My husband is involved in helping to organise the naked bungee jump in Nanaimo, which is for a charitable organisation. I have no idea why anyone would want to jump off a bridge, naked in February. Suffices to say, my husband does not actually take part in the jumping!

ahahaha i used to ride the bus into waikiki from the airport every week after an intl flight.. the shuttles had stopped running and i never took luggage.. i met some of the most interesting locals and tourists ever.. but then i was single and probably lonely or home sick and always met folks from my home town

LOL!! I think my husband uses both sides but left side is more dominant. When we travel it's by car, no expensive plane for him. About 15 hours into a 28 hour trip he said "what dummy decided to drive this??" I just stared at him, NOT happy. That joke went over like a lead balloon. And then he will use $10 in gas traveling around looking for a cheap hotel. Even if he's only saving $5. The worse was when we kept hearing the bed next door bouncing and hitting the wall. That's when it dawned on me the man standing outside the door wasn't just here to smoke a cig but waiting on his turn....our young kids asking what was going on. Ugh.
