Cool. What is that 4x4 in your icon? Looks like Wrangler meets Mad Max Bronco.

@@ROCKNAKSYACHTSALESINC Yeah it's a lifted Wrangler JK 2 door with an angry grill. I've since swapped it out back to the original gril. I'd love to trade you hobbies; I take up sailing and you take up rock crawling. Cheers!

Thanks Scott for some good processes. I just purchased a 439 and its in Annapolis, however we cannot use it until this covid 19 crisis is over. Your video helped scratch the itch to go sailing!

Very nice, clean boat! Good materials. Only.. no Flag.. Where are the swimming showers? I am a Beneteau afficionado, but will have a look at this one as well.

almost the best video....worth mentioning how dangerous it is to release a spin-lock without securing the line on winch first (21:45). We don't do mistakes like this and not talk about it

I love your video! Only thing I could see wrong is that you checked the oil level wrong in my opinion, should take dip stick out, wipe off with rag, re-insert, take back out and inspect oil level on stick. This will prevent false readings. But there are always a million different ways to do things and a million people like me commenting on different ways. lol Anyways, keep up the nice videos, have a good one!

Thanks! Probably checked the oil on several takes immediately before that one. You're right about wiping it of course.

Very nice video. However, it would make more sense to have your dock lines cast off from the sailboat as opposed from the dock. This way you can pick them up easily with the boat hook as opposed to running around the dock securing the three lines? Especially if you’re on a floating dock you can have the lines set at the exact length that you might need.

Great video. I have a question: ($30:00) I see your jib furling line is run in the factory fair-leads on the bow. How do you run it so that it makes it to the aft cleat with out having a chafing point when you run the line from the last fair-lead to under the deck and to the cleat?

Just went out and looked at a 44DS we have here out here in our shop. The furler line on the 449 is similar. The line runs on the top of the forward cabin coach roof and then goes under a shroud the rest of the way aft near the hand rail. It reappears before the clutch. It's pretty much a direct line with no contact on the fiberglass under load.

and where is the cockpit wind-shield? Not standard in the 300k version :-(

Maybe lifejacket?

The boat looks very nice however the 3 year world wide coverage is misleading. I bought this boat and within 6 months had problem with the engine. I wrote emails after emails to Jeanneau and did not receive any response. The dealer just stated that my expectations were too high it usually takes many days to fix a problem like this. That is world wide coverage.

nice video, pity though you had not the strength or prowess to use the winch handle like a real sailor would, and not rely on electronic gizmos to do the work for you, if you don't know how, what happens when the power goes out??
