Can the owner provide any information albeit 6 or 7 years late on how fast she sails, best points of sail and eaCh of anchoring et al.

Eleven minutes I will never get back. What was the point of this?? How about telling the brand of meter and more information about what is happening, rather than a long boring video that could have been 2 minutes or less??

I have been a Freedom fan since the 80's. When time allowed I took ownership of a Hoyt 32. Great boat. Recently sold. IF I get another it would be this 40/40.

the only scary thing about the boat is being ripped off by yards for haul outs. Old wooden boat in the states?..., Good luck with that!.... Haul out in south America....

I must be missing something. The inside wheel is grea for bad weather unless you have to adjust the sheets. Then you have to go outside and often get soaked with rain to adjust your sheets. Am i wrong? I'd have a raised central cockpitfully open or fully closed with all lines coming into it and ditch the tillers. Currently it seems poorly thought out.

Prachtige film. Mijn ervaring is dat je beter kunt voor komen dat je van in zijn achteruit weer naar vooruit moet schakelen. Je ziet dat het schip door het wiel effect behoorlijk van koers veranderd. Ik zou zelf met meer snelheid de box in varen .Met een boegschroef is de punt van je schip prima onder controle te houden . Ik gebruik altijd mijn zwemplateau om vanaf aan te leggen. Als mijn stuurboord landvast gelegd is, dan is het in zijn vooruit zetten en rustig wachten. Probeer het eens. Overigens heb ik geen boeg en hekschroef. Ga zo door!

Hmm the story of the swim ladder....its designed from behind the desk...Try open that swim ladder hatch from within the water, we had something similar and changed it because you'd drown behind the boat, Try open it fully on a bouncing boat, which makes the hatch close again in your face and then turn the ladder over the dead point whilst your body is in the water Its a serious risk. We solved it by putting a cassette ladder, it pops out on the push of a button..

I still remember the look on the marina attendants face as I sailed up to the gas dock, dropped sails, and brought her up close to throw the bow line to the attendant. ( my engine was out, so I had to sail her in). 37' sloop.
