In June 2022 we were lucky enough to be allowed to film 3 detailed walkthroughs of boats at the Jeanneau dealership in Southern France on the Mediterranean coast. The dealership is called Espace Power and is in Bormes Les Mimosas.

Any major differences you see (improvements, or dis-improvements?) verus your old boat? New motor package looks pretty slick

Thanks for you comment Chris and yes the Merc 225’s are a nice set up!! As this one is based on the Marlin they are quite different in a lot of ways in respect of how the space is used around the boat - this one being geared to sport a lot more. I think that makes it slightly less effective as a leisure/sleeping on type of boat but it gives us as customers great choice which is always a good thing!! I’d have had the Zipwakes :) I would expect the actual performance and handling to be very similar though 😁

In reference to the silver color marine guages ( barometer, thermometer. Clock). How were they attached to the plexiglass? Love the look!

Almost a perfect boat. But i can't understand why they did not put in the normal kitchen double gas burner behind the pilot seat (like the normal 895). And made that dinette seat a little bit smaller. It is after all more geared to fishing. No need for that seating inside, just cut 30 cm off that seat and put in the normal kitchen.

@@PowerboatingAdventures Cooking your fresh catch of the day under the windshields will give you a nice greased window. They need to redesign that.

Que pensez vous de ce modèle 895 sport? Le trouvez vous mieux que le 895 que vous possédez?

Salut Jeremy et merci d'avoir regardé le film. Je pense que j'ai personnellement préféré la taille supplémentaire dans la cabine principale en ce sens qu'il y avait plus d'espace libre car nous prévoyions de passer la nuit dans le bateau davantage. Deuxièmement, j'ai préféré la cuisine de notre 895 Offshore car elle offrait les deux brûleurs et un peu plus d'espace aussi. Nous avons adoré un bon cuisinier sur le 895, que ce soit le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner, etc. Dans l'ensemble, je pense que je choisirais toujours notre 895 Offshore avant le Sport. Le Sport est un beau bateau de pêche !!! Je sors le film 695 Series 2 dans les prochains jours - cela m'a surpris en tant que fantastique petit bateau :))
