About I Dream Of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. @Trey Stephens this was well before breast implants, those were invented sometime in the 70's, some had silicone injections (real bad long term results, I think they slightly changed Barbara's costume and possibly a padded bra.

I don’t think there was a hallway upstairs. The staircase just led to the loft. It was probably added in this episode for the comedy.

The set changed from Season to Season. Season 1 - 3 used the same type of staircase with no balcony. Different types of set pieces were changed. Tony's chair (used in Seasons 1 and 2) was changed to a futon looking blue chair (seen here). The bar was changed by each season. A big bar beside the kitchen (Season 1 and Jeannie Breaks the Bank season 2 episode 15, filmed 2nd), the bar switched to being by the fireplace (Season 2), switched to inside the kitchen (Season 3), to disappearing (seasons 4 and 5). Tony's bedroom, the upstairs set, and kitchen were rarely changed, maybe some new set pieces here to there, but overall not much changed there.

Goof: The upstairs study set is way too small compared to the size of the second story seen on the outside of the home. There are two windows across from one another in the study as you know. The window where his telescope is is obviously in the front of the house. The window across from it is the back of the house above the back patio. Tony climbed up the trellis when he was disguised as the English psychiatrist in season 3 & entered through the upstairs window to the study in order to change clothes. The distance from both upstairs windows is 1/10th of the distance from the downstairs back patio doors to the actual front door.

I just HAVE to make a comment about the FOUR episode long series of “Genie, Genie, Who’s Got the Genie” and simply MUST say that if it wasn’t for the MORONIC CLOD Roger Healy (the HEAL) BARGING in like he ALWAYS DOES, knocking Major Nelson into the safe and locking Jeannie into it, (which shouldn’t have happened in the FIRST PLACE because Jeannie should have chosen a BETTER location to hide, “they” collectively would have NEVER gotten themselves into that situation in the first place. HOW “Major Heeley” became an ASTRONAUT in the space program as an INCOMPETENT BAFFOON is BEYOND EXPLANATION. Leave it to the show writers to use him as a clod that he is. Remember the “Blue Jinn” episode where good ole’ Rojj barges into Tony’s house (and that happens WAYYYYYYYYYY too often on this show, ESPECIALLY by “doctor” Bellows (me a moon), and he takes Tony’s remote and shuts off the T.V.? He’s a freakin’ womanizing MORON. Even as a 57 y.o. man I NEVER liked his “character “.

Well genies do come from Islamic folklore. In fact in the original 1965 pilot episode Jeanine originally only speaks Persian when she was first released from her magic bottle so Tony makes a wish for her to be able to speak English so that they can communicate.
