Recently Brad of TrailRecon and 392forum members have experienced early transfer case failure needing replacement. Several others have found their factory gear oil levels to be significantly lower than minumum. I take preventive measure at 6100 miles to change these 3 gear oils and observe what comes out. Oil is cheap, gear sets are not.
