Team FMS Performance custom built an exhaust kit trying 7 different types of mufflers along the way to try to dial in a great sound. Take a listen and let us know which one is your favorite. Thanks for the video. I thought that the FlowMaster Super 10 sounded the best! I had the muffler shop remove the large aft oval suit case muffler. They bent and installed a piece of exhaust tubing in its place. I left the forward round muffler in, and left the tail pipe resonator in as well. Very happy with how it sounds. Not too loud, does not sound like a ricer, and does not drone.

you can thank the equalized lengths of the exhaust! (driver side has a looped exhaust)

@@troyd-motorsport9933 The louder it is the more drown but not as bad as the Wranglers. We finished with the 40 series and it had very little drown.

Thank you, yes we removed the resonator and did a complete cat-back system just changing the muffler in the process of different sound levels. Please subscribe for more updates.

This was a custom kit built just for this particular Gladiator. We do offer a Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back kit for your Jeep that will bolt-on.

How's the drone inside the cabin at low to mid RPMs for all these exhausts?

Thanks for contacting. We didn't drive with each system to check drone. We ended up using the 40 series Flowmaster and has very little drone at normal driving speeds. Aggressive drone on heavy acceleration. Please subscribe for more updates. Thank you

@@FMSPerformance did you have to bend the pipe used for the muffler delete? Mandrel bend or compression bend?

Unfortunately almost all of these have a "tuner car" sound... what the story there? very disappointing. Another thing, this video is great for showing tone but not volume as these relate to one another. Can you rate them from quiet to loud? or maybe post a db rating. Thank you for posting.

Absolutely right. I find the sound depressing going from a 5.7 Grand Cherokee to a 3.6L Gladiator. I don’t think I’ll do aftermarket with it.

no v6 will ever sound like a v8. v6 just sound like that
