Yes, the jeep's 4 wheel drive low is awesome. I got my first vehicle as a high school senior. It was an almost new '79 Jeep CJ-7 Wrangler with the 304 v8. It had 5000 miles on it and the guy had never even put it in 4 wheel drive. I paid $4500 in cash for it. I put a small lift with shackles to take care of the clearance I needed for my mudders. That thing went through almost everything--and when u thought you couldn't get out, u put it in 4 wheel low in first gear--u could pop the front tires off of the ground with this gearing. It would slowly start crawling and most times got u out. Nice video thanks for sharing.

Proof yet again that huge tires and a lift cannot substitute for skill and vehicular agility in these situations. I can't tell you how many of these beefy trucks I have pulled out in my little TJ over the years.

Glad that tree didnt give way, saw one that size get pulled over from a jeep winching my truck out. Didnt hit nothing but i was also swamped big time in a similar sized truck, his jeep was a stick Yj, made put faith in synthetic ropes too

Jeep Wrangler EcoDiesel, you rarely need 4lo. I went to 37's and 4.56's and it'll hit 8th gear easy and 4lo is crazy, the amount of torque it delivers.

I like how you use a strap (plus receiver hitch shackle) from the stuck vehicle to your snatch block. That's a good way to do it!
