Jeep LJ UCF Ultra High Clearance Skid Plate. Gain 3" of ground clearance easy!

In this video I install the Under Cover Fab ultra high clearance skid plate on my Jeep Lj. I will have to trim the front just a little and adjust my exhaust, but all in all it bolted right up and I do not rub on the tub.
I have a 1.25 body lift to get the clearance out of the tub I needed.
2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ
3" lift
35" tires

Looks good. PS. When you talk to the camera look at the lens not the screen. It’ll make it look like you’re talking to us instead of talking to someone standing beside us.

Good looking out brother man, i’m thinking that may be my next upgrade as well… Just got to do the body lift first. What kind of suspension lift do you have?

Did you figure out your vibrations skinner?? lol I have similar build specs and just got the lift installed, vibrates way more than before.

Yes I did. Mine was pinion angles once I got them set it is much better. Not 100% perfect, but most people have a little vibration with the belly up, but it's fine now.

try using lifted engine mounts so the transmission and transfer case aren't pointing up in the rear, even all that back out, maybe would help the vibration before destroying a drive shaft or ujoints

Did you use the low profile trans mount, or the stock one?

@@skinnersdose a few questions. Any vibrations from the rear driveshaft? Did the front of the skid contact the auto trans oil pan?

Did you have to do anything to tre transmission tunnel for clearance?

@@tdperformance157 I just put one on with a 1.25 body lift and the tunnel is not the problem for me. The exhaust contacts the floor at the cat and muffler. The low pro mount will likely solve that but the skid contacts the auto trans pan.

@@robbanks7393 my trans hits to. They told me I would have to trim. Wasn’t expecting to trim this much. I could space the mount up a 1/4” but then I hit the tunnel.
