There will never be someone as good as Jeff in this world. His voice was so pure, so raw, so emotional and powerful, his lyrics were so true and relatable, his harmonies and melodies were so ethereal. He was truly someone from another plan of existence. He was really one and only...

Denis Willer Jeff NEVER ran out of breath, either. I used to think, surely he can't hit that note toward the end, every single time. Never heard him miss. Astonishing. The only word I can muster with all my triteness, to describe Jeff. You, however, described him perfectly.

right. There had been other singers who touched me deeply (Thom Yorke, Chris Cornell, David Bowie, Lane Staley...) but nonetheless they don't come close to what Jeff & his music does to me. He was so passionate, multifaceted, vulnerable... his yearning... god. Whenever I listen to him I get this feeling in my gut that is SO intense. It feels like anguish and bliss all at the same time. It cannot be put into words, cause it's this otherworldly experience. It is disarmingly beautiful. It leaves me speechless.

I could have died and felt fulfilled just hearing that live and in person had i been in the studio. It would have been like being in Gods workshop seeing Him craft one of his blessed creatures to perfection and endowing Jeff at this moment the ability to pull from the cosmos what he needed at that moment to share with the world. Im just baffled as to why there is no video of this. Its absolutely the best radio impromptu performance ever.

JB was so humorous and upbeat. I remember him getting the tag of 'melancholy ' and may have not accidently drowned being said at that time. This couldn't be further from the truth and those who knew him. He most definately wasn't troubled and unhappy with life as heard at intro. For the Love of BUCK always ❤!
