We lost one of our Alabama boys today rest in peace Jeff Cook

I love this and I'm do miss you jeff

That's what kind of guys Alabama is. Randy Owens has a heart of gold. And he loves his cousin Jeff and his cousin Teddy. And they all love each other and they all been very tight over the years. You cannot beat a group like the group Alabama. 43 + number one hits. More than any country band ever. Makin hits all through the 80s three quarter way through the 90s. Now of all people. Jeff Cook had to come down with Parkinson's. At least I think that's what he got diagnosed with. Looks like you lost a lot of weight. And strength. I pray that God turn stuff around and heels Jeff from this horrible disease. The same disease that Michael j.fox has. But still holding on. The same disease that took Muhammad Ali I believe. Jeff Cook was an awesome guitar player and filler. I should say he is an awesome guitar player and Fiddler. Randy Owens is the voice of Alabama. He will keep going as far as he can go. Teddy Gentry looks like he's in pretty good health. Randy 2 my prayers go out to the group Alabama to read night all three of them again as the full group of Alabama. I would even like to see Mark Herndon come back. Because Mark has played stage with Alabama for 25 years I believe. And in my opinion there hasn't been a better drummer yet that hits those special Alabama beats. I hope one day Randy, Teddy and Jeff put their differences aside bring back Mark. It's been a long time. I've seen Alabama over 10 times in concert. And what a great show and performance all four- did

While I was living in Augusta, Georgia I became friends with a young lady named Georgia Herring, who was attending chemistry classes at the University there (in Augusta). (I was not attending school there). I came to know Geogia for a length of time; Geogia was not a boastful person and, in fact, she was modest and never told me about Jeff Cook at the time. One day, I was about to move away from Augusta, Sadly, I told Georgia, as I showed Georgia a book about a music group in which I was a guitar player, the book also showed a picture of me. Geogia then told me about Jeff Cook (her cousin). She explained he played piano as well, and he "sat in" with a local band (Southern Comfort). Georgia gleamed while she spoke about Jeff (she holds a precious endearment for Jeff, as she spoke to me about him). Jeff is a really good person (Alabama is a very genuine music group with many country songs, that are scuptured with words of sincere definition, that spur excitement that cause "big wheels" to gear-up and turn ... ALABAMA's musical meterings and lyrical articulations excite human motivation); Georgia is a really kind and respectful person whom I feel fortunate to have known, while I lived in Augusta. I hope Jeff always feels the endearment of his family and friends and most certainly, I hope he knows how much Geogria thinks the world of him, Teddy Gentry and Randy Owen.

Wow this band couldn't play mountain music for shit excuse me but that's the dang the truth Randy Owen knows it. That's why they had to go through a lot of guitar players that took three or four guitar players to do what one man can do when they lost Jeff Cook at least that's what Teddy said
