He certainly is amazing. He's produced a sound that nobody has copied. Elo are unique just like sparks. No-one has been able to replicate them. This is what makes them the bands that they are. Fantastic.

From 1976 to this day ELO (Jeff Lynne) has been the best live band i have ever seen and i have seen lots and lots of concerts from legendary bands. I saw ELO in 1976, 1978, 1981, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. I feel very fortunate. I will see them again in 2024.

He's only ever wrote one song and then split it into several different songs but if you were to join them all together they would sound like the same song, same chords, same note runs and same rhythm, it's just a format. This is not ELO but Jeff Lynne with a bunch of musicians. He couldn't do the show without them as they re carrying him but they could easily do the show without him. He sounds good but he's no musical genius and yes Jeff loves the money.

You should have gone to see the mighty Slade. They were probably the best live band to ever grace a stage. Now don't get me wrong i love ELO's music(will be seeing them 15th Oct at Leeds Arena '18), and Jeff Lynne is without doubt an exceptionally talented musician/songwriter/producer and came up with the goods time and time again, and also puts on a great show, but(there's always a but), having already seen many many of the biggest bands out there 'Live', still to this day i have not seen any to better Slade for stagecraft. From the moment the lights went down it was a full on onslaught of power and energy, a catalogue of smash hits from start to finish played at a volume the like i've never witnessed at any other gigs. It was their call to the fans to 'Cum On 'FEEL' The Noize' and feel it you did. The bands whole career was built on their 'Live' shows and Noddy Holder's vocals were the loudest most earsplitting of any rock outfit, How i miss them.

The greatest guitarist n musician ever. He made the guitar do things that others had never dreamed of . To perform so brilliantly in his 70’s is a testament to his never ending ways of achieving perfection n giving us such a great cross of so many musical instruments from vocals to drums, base n guitars, piano, organs. Cello’s, violins … WOW… I bought one of their albums ( discover I think ) n never dreamed I’d be so hooked 50yrs later. Heading towards 70 but his music makes me feel in my 20’s! Thank God for people like Jeff Lynne👍👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

ELO is the best live band i have ever seen. Yes i have seen a lot of legendary bands. MUSICALLY Jeff Lynne is fantastic!

It's just mind-blowing that Jeff Lynne has that spread of musicians and moving parts, technically speaking, and him and his band STILL sound IDENTICAL to the album recordings, if not even better; not to mention mixing the live audio in Wembley and adding the visual aspect to boot! Musical mastery and professionalism at the absolute highest level, to say the least! Incredible!

So great to see my generation having a blast at a concert. Brings back all kinds of feelings. I'm 73 and I was a single mom raising kids in the 70's. No time for concerts but the music was always part of my life. I was blessed to grow up with the 50's 60's and 70's music. Nothing comes close to it now.

Saw this band in concert February 6, 1976 at Lane County Fair Grounds, Eugene, OR. Great concert, these guys rocked the house and the lazer show was tops. Met my future wife April 2nd 1976 and this was the first song we danced to together. ELO has been a big part of my life for over 46 years. Keep Rockin!

Just look at the crowd dancing and singing loving the moment, that’s what quality music does to folk, not enough good times going on direct all the haters to ELO and they will instantly forget all the hate and just have a good time

It is so touching to see how much fun the musicians and the audience have. It's like a foretaste of the time when the world will return to normal and we'll be able to experience something like this live again. I hope so much that this time comes soon.

Well, I really enjoy the sentiment in your comment. This is my crowd, too. But, when I look in the mirror, expecting to see someone 25 years old, and see someone in their 60s looking back, I have to admit I feel a bit old. With that said, I'd only want to go back to being 25 years old knowing what I know now. Wait. Let me qualify (and quantify?) that. I would only want to go back knowing a lot of what I know now. The part about knowing that a lot of my dreams would never come true, no way. I would want to be totally ignorant of that fact. It would totally ruin the whole experience. But some of the other stuff I know now? Yep, I'd want to know that. I'd want to know, for instance, that we only have so many years on this planet. That we need to make the most of every day as much as it is within our power. And, I want to know that there are some people who would disappear from my life forever, for no apparent reason, and without warning. I want to know that so I could make the most out of each and every time we spent together. And, I would trade phone numbers and addresses with them all, hoping to stay in touch with as many as possible. I sure miss some of those people I Used to Know. Now there's no way for me to find out whatever happened to them. And, I think I would spend a little more time with children on the next go-round. I like the way the world looks through their eyes. I enjoy their company. The way they tend to be non-judgmental, and often, the way to find a silver lining to almost every dark cloud, and be happy. Okay, that's it, I'm done. I love ELO, too. I wasn't trying to rain on your parade. Your comment just got me to thinking.

To anyone under 40 who has found this - This is known as Rock & Roll MUSIC. You know, MUSIC! Not like 90% of the garbage that has been passed off as hit songs over the last 20 years. Jeff Lynne is an absolute treasure. He has never rec'd his due from so called music "Critics". What do they know. Check out the people in the audience! I bought all the ELO albums in the 70's & I treat them like the GOLD that they are!
