@@encycl07pedia- Sandy is tricky to get grip on and even the most kitted out Landcrushers, Luxies and Poo-trols can get bogged. To do well on sand you need good fat tyres at low tyre pressures, an engine with low down torque, and ideally has a dual range gearbox or at least the awd system is a 60:40 setup and can be switched on manually. Ohh and the ability to carry a set of max traxs or two. If I was building a rig to go onto sand, I'd also invest in an on-board air compressor, a winch and some snap straps as a backup if anyone needs to pull me out. You can also use a winch hooked to a spare tyre buried in the sand to help pull you out of trouble. Clearance is the least of your issues if you can't channel the engine's power to give you low down torque, and/or if the awd system has a strong front wheel drive bias and not designed for light off-roading. Most SUVs designed as town cars have awd optional drivetrains that are usually 80:20 or, at best, a 70:30 bias with the rear diff being electronically turned on when the ecu detects slip. It's not there to give you off-road ability, but to stop the car from spinning out in the wet. A diesel powered SUV would be best because diesel's naturally have low down torque. Although plenty of people can tackle sand with petrol 4wds provided they have a low range box. My suggestion for you is a Pajero Sport. Has the mitsy's Super select 4wd system which is a dual range setup used in the Triton & pajero plus has added benefits of being able to be used on the road for safety. It's turbo diesel with a reliable 2.4L engne. Well spec'd for the money and at your budget you may be able to get a 2nd hand one with some warranty left. The pajero sport is made more for the city driver who likes to go offroad every so often so it still feels more like a daily car instead of a off-roader that is uncomfortable as a daily. If you want a new car, for $35k, your options are more limited. $30-35k is the entry level part of the SUV market where you're mostly buying base model petrol SUVs made as cheap town runabouts. 2nd hand newer cars can be a real bargain if you can forgo the new car smell. In the 2nd hand market for your money you could also consider either the Forester or Outback. Both very capable cars with the forester lending to higher clearance, but less bootspace and higher price due to beng an SUV. I've driven the current gen Outback on looser sandy trails in it's "X-mode" and it did very well. The 6th gen outback is a great car to drive and will likely do many miles comfortably. It's definitely one of the best cars I've ever driven.

"enough with the nicknames" is my earliest memory of survivor (back when I was little and would be in the room while my parents watched). i honestly thought i had made that up in my head
@schweckles11424 жыл бұрын
Alright wtf because me too. I remember sneaking out of bed to steal food out of the fridge after I had gone to bed and hearing that exact line from living room because my mom was watching TV. I wouldn't start watching the show with her until a few years later but I really thought I had made it up in my head because it was such a strange standalone memory.

Jeff Probst is honestly the best host ever. He is intelligent, well spoken and very respectful. There will always will be people that can find something to complain about, especially on the internet. Most of them just plain jealous. Eagle turtle, big compliment for all the video's you put out, I know how much time that takes, really well done!thanks for the entertainment!

What I love about Jeff the most is that when he sees people that are full of it, as a host he clearly calls them out on it. A lot of hosts on reality shows just smile and go on with the show.
