This video was made at the 2008 NSTA Tempe, Arizona symposium. Jeff Shair discussed his experience with Spasmodic Torticollis, Tardive Dystonia and Golden Breath Tai Chi. This video is the demonstration of an eight step exercise Jeff performed after his presentation. He demonstrated the movements and the breathing that is associated with the movements.
Jeff Shair joined the NSTA as a member in 2001. He soon became an active volunteer shortly after. He is listed as a contact person in the East Coast and spoke to others about spasmodic torticollis. Jeff was a guest speaker at our 2008 NSTA Tempe, Arizona symposium where he discussed his experience with spasmodic torticollis, tardive dystonia and how Golden Breath Tai Chi helped him control his symptoms. Jeff has written articles about various topics of interest to the people we serve that was published in the ST Quarterly magazine. He has also represented the NSTA and people with spasmodic torticollis at Washington DC, advocating the issues that are important to people suffering from this orphan disease.
