I started playing Halo when I was 7 years old. Used to go over to my friend's house to play Halo 3 (Back in 2009). Good times. Then he moved away (not too far, but about 30km away) but we remained friends. He gave me his Halo 4. I still remember when Halo MCC came out, he came over with his X-Box One and we'd play it together. He still kicked my ass but it was fun. Then when I got my own X-Box One we played Halo 5 together. I'll never forget when we always sticked together. It was rare for him to not get at least a Killing Spree during a match. Best I got was a Killing Frenzy and he was cheering me on when I got my first one. But in that same game, just a couple of minutes later, I heard "Killing Frenzy! Double Kill! Triple Kill! Overkill! Killtacular! Running Riot! Killtrocity!" 2 grenades and an energy sword later and he got as many medals in 5 seconds as I did in the entire game. I was basically only good at Infected or SWAT. When playing Infected we always stuck together. One time it was only us two left and even he got excited when he noticed I got a 'Hell's Janitor'. He's way better than I am but it was quite funny when I heard him jumping in his chair when he spectated me when I was playing and I got a Hell Jumper in Infected when being the only one left alive. I died 1 kill short of a Zombiecide so I was quite sad.

My friends got me a Cameo from him on my birthday too as a surprise. It was actually amazing when I first saw it. It's great to see he's been wishing all us fans happy birthdays.🎂

I had no idea he was almost the Chief, that's so easy to imagine he definitely has the gravitas for it but I'm glad we got him as the announcer instead.
