This creepypasta was a lot scarier when nobody knew it and it was just kind of a playground legend. The story I heard in elementary school was that Jeff the killer was a kid that got tortured and the torture made him insane, and he just kinda lurks across America finding victims. The real story is actually way shittier than the version I remember that scared me as a kid.

I remember reading a remake(?) of Jeff the killer. It was a lot better than the original. His descent to madness was so vivid and well written. - Jeff is a much more older, about 16-17. - Jeff used to practice boxing, which is why he's able to beat up Randy and his minions - Jeff's parents were abusive and horrible, never taking his (and his brother's) side, even when they got into a fight with Randy and co, which is one of the factors to Jeff losing his mind. - Jeff and his family moved from town to town frequently, which makes him feel secluded, with only Liu by his side - Liu was never sent to juvie, instead he was sent to their aunt's because the siblings were "causing trouble" - Jeff didn't get bleached, but Randy accidentally shot Jeff's face with a flare gun in their second encounter, blinding his left eye and scarring his cheek, forming a permanent smile on one side - His parents were more worried about Jeff's appearence at this point rather than his health. Apparently having a disfigured child is a big no to them - Jeff never killed Liu, as he is his only family and true friend

I'm currently going down a creepypasta rabbit hole as I was only familiar with the gaming stories back in the day, and am loving the ridiculousness of these. I've listened to this story so many times now and the more times I listen, the more things are just patently absurd: -The most insight we get about a buildup to Jeff's homicidal urges are a non-specific "feeling" and nothing else -The bullies are so over-the-top that they scare the PARENTS away. -Despite being at a neighborhood children's birthday party with tons of adults and witnesses around, nobody attempts to intervene or get the police involved, considering the kids have knives, guns, and are literally killing each other. -Jeff goes after his brother despite him being the only person he cares about. -Jeff's parents' reaction to his mental deterioration is to decide to kill him -It's just a poor man's Joker ripoff, but with a 13-year-old.

Number 15: The last thing you want in a Creepypasta about a male killing people is is fangirls, but as it turns out, that might just be what you get.
