Finally someone compliments Hyungwon (the one with the smooth hip move) on his dancing ! I feel like a lot of people don't appreciate him enough especially with the fact that he keeps up with everyone when he's so tall, kinda like Johnny in NCT who used to practice with weights so he could dance faster. Also don't worry Jeff, everyone struggles with Jooheon's name at first ! For me, I think this is probably the most impressive choreo of 2020 so far. There have been others with bigger/flashier or even "catchier" moments, but as a whole.. this one is just super impressive to me.

Actually his name is Jooheon! Don’t worry his name is pretty hard for new fans to get the hang of😂 it’s pronounced like “Joo-hon”! The “e” isn’t really pronounced in Korean names, specifically stage names, unless the name starts with an “e”. Technically Jooheon changed his stage name to Joohoney so it’s easier for fans and new fans to pronounce! You can also just call him Honey! funfact! MONSTA X debuted from an internal survival show within their company’s trainees and Jooheon is the constant top trainee in their company. Even when MONSTA X was formed, Jooheon was 1st through his lyrics, performance and stage charisma. Jooheon in debut / predebut days always presented himself with raw, chaotic energy (best examples are his predebut stage with #Gun and in MX debut song Trespass). Throughout 5 years, Jooheon has gone more controlled w his energy, w more versatile styles and experimented with various ways of performances - from vocals to rap. All MX members have improved immensely throughout these years but imo, Jooheon’s insane cause he debuted as an ace but he still managed to push himself to be even better. So I’m glad that you seem to enjoy Jooheon’s performance and lyrics as well!

I have been lucky enough to see Monsta X live and they were awesome. Their stage presence (especially Jooheon and Kihyun) and the way they got the crowd jumping around was something I will never forget!!

Seriously, anything Monsta X does will be impressive; choreography, vocals, visuals... they are amazing. Jooheon can also sing, not just rap.

By the way! "Fantasia" is a term for a style of composition, in which a song is composed in a free-form improvising way, combining many tunes. You can definitely tell that by listening to the song! Although with the first listen, it might be hard to catch onto the melody, over time, IT BECOMES STUCK IN YOUR HEAD AND ITS A WHOLE BOP! also, fyi, Jooheon is really a prodigy, he was even REQUESTED to train other trainees WHILE HE WAS A TRAINEE HIMSELF! hahaha

Minhyuk (one of the members) said it's one of their (or even the hardest) dance routine to do, it's very exhausting, they keep slaying each comeback!

Honestly Shoot Out most likely has the best choreography from all of their songs but I’m really surprised that not many people are recommending “Follow” by MONSTA X. Probably one of their top songs and has some of the best choreography as well.

I hope you react to a lot more Monsta X! Like some people have said, Shoot Out is probably the most iconic dance/MV they have, but things like Beautiful and Dramarama are very worth watching too (honestly, they all are)

In addition to being catchy, Fantasia has another meaning for our fandom. We've been through hell the last 8 months. We lost one member through rumors and false accusations. That's why you can see a burning newspaper in MV. Faceless dancers depicting the epitome of haters hiding behind the screens, hands that want to drag them into another scandal. They dance around them like hyenas. Their choreography also matters. At the end they go crazy and at the end stage they fall to the ground. This is a symbol of victory! This song is a huge masterpiece! The text is also very ironic. This song is really a shout at those who wanted to destroy them. I think that the colors here are very important and fire. In my opinion, it's like a phoenix born of ash. Rebirth. A new beginning. They showed with this album that they are very strong and cannot be destroyed so easily. They are real warriors.

Some others I really love are Stuck, Dramarama, Beautiful and Follow if you want a few more recommendations. Another group you might like to check out is Pentagon. They recently had a comeback with the album The Black Hall. The title song Dr Bebe is an absolute banger and the choreo is fire in my opinion.

Something ive found really hard about MX choreo-they use alot of kinda ambiguous angles but perfectly sync it. This song is a perfect example the chorus doesnt have alot of fully extended moves and keeps things at strange but specific levels with lots of bend arms. its crazy they can sync moves like that and its clear in covers how hard it is lol

Monsta X Stuck as well, the footwork is amazing

But no doubt shownu dancing is mesmerizing! It's magic. And Kihyun is the vocal king! You can do whatever you want and the tones you want even at that dance speed. Basically monsta x is lit! They're really shocking when they're on stage. And their coordination and harmony is perfect. The name of the one who comes out at the beginning of the video is called minhyuk. The first rapper is awesome you should see the power he has on stage and the ability to rap, you must listen to his vocals too, dancer, producer, song writer, multi-talent. It's jooheon pronounced juhon. From jooheon you must listen to the covers of imagine dragons. The high tones of harmony with shownu, is the one who dances the solo, Yoo Kihyun. The choreography is really strong and powerful from the first minute and the song is perfect. And the MV is super fancy, artistic and expensive
