White guy here. I was in one of the best Highschool Marching Bands in the country at the time in the 80's from NE Pennsylvania. I gotta admit, when I first came across this band I was intrigued by a white kid leading a black band. Black folks have such a unique and different style than white folks when it comes to marching bands. Both styles are to me excellent in their own way. I've seen about 20 of JDHS vids and honestly all I see now is a great bunch of kids performing at a high level. Awesome kids working hard, excellent stuff. Rock on!

his name is justin or vanilla funk not "white boy" since you clearly didnt know but it dosent matter.. if they wanna praise him then let them be. all 4 majors are good but a lot of people like him more and he stands out to them more because he is white, why are you making it seem like a problem. and oh well if hes getting more attention more because hes white. they more than likely put him in the front because he earned that spot [ which is exactly what the instructors there said in that video that was about him ].

I was watching them because I'm loving the sounds of the band, the synchronicity of the marching, the damn fine ladies of course, and just the overall presentation. This just appeared in my suggestions, and I'm so glad it did! Fantastic work Kev, promoting a great sounding and even better performing group. These DM's are all in! and the Dad in the blue t-shirt...I'd like to see his footage too! None of this happens without the parents support. Tell them thank you and the Director of Bands too. also Thank you to you! Love seeing a great Band! Keep up the good work.

So cool to watch. Clearly he's a leader and he dances very, very well🙌🏻. He dances real smooth. Go Justin! 😍 Good job young man! Go JDHS! I love the whole routine. Wishing all the 2020 graduates much success! Only the Lord knows what's in our future.
