Let me tell you about this cool Star Wars bot, the R2-D2 STAR WARS INTERACTIVE ASTROMECH DROID ROBOT
R2D2 Kids Toy
This is a video of my Astromech Droid robot R2D2 robot toy, one of the most awesome toys from Star Wars which I bought at the Star Wars ride gift shop at Hollywood Studios in Disney world, Orlando, FL. One of the coolest robots from movies, they used to sell these Astromech R2D2 droid units in there for $75 when you came out of the "Star Tours", which is a Star Wars simulator ride.
Interactive R2 D2
The Star Wars ride gift shop used to line up these Interactive R2D2 Robots all around the top shelf in the store. There were R2D2 droids everywhere, Star Wars toys galore to bring the kids out in us adults. It was total abundance of Star Wars robots, the Interactive
Astromech R2D2 droids were everywhere. We bought 5 of them there for $75 each and doubled our money reselling these on eBay.
Star Wars R2-D2 Robot sounds
Here I will show you some of the things this cool R2D2 robot Star Wars Toy can do for you. this is one of the hottest Robot toys around. If your kid is into robot toys, this Star Wars droid will quickly become his favorite Star Wars toy.

This is an Interactive R2-D2 robot toy! R2 reacts to your voice in command mode, making all sorts of official original Star Wars r2d2 noises. One of my favorite features of this R2-D2 robot droid toy is he will react verbally with different audio bleeps to different Star Wars characters when you mention their name. This is such a cool Star Wars R2-D2 toy, your own little Star Wars bot.
Scare this r2d2 droid by mentioning Darth Vader's name
For example, mention Darth Vader, and r2-d2 droid starts to freak out, screaming and beeping like crazy..If you mention Princess Leia, Rd-D2 will play that famous message from her that says "This is our most desperate hour, help me, Obi Wan Kenobi"

Damn, this thing has already been out for 15+ years? I recently found mine and it was working perfectly though batteries were low. All the memories came rushing right back. I remember when my grandfather surprised me with this on my first year to school. So many adventures and fun memories I had with this one. I think I even remember this specific video from the time. Toys in the past were much more creative and better in every way than the ones now.

@@erickalvarado8364 Probably 95%+ things worked as they should though it was slightly slower than I remembered it due to low batteries. The only thing I am not sure if it works as it should is that when it moves forward it also moves slightly to one side, however from what I have seen in videos this is normal or at least not only something that my r2 has. I played around with it for a good 40 minutes but then I had to remove the batteries to avoid corrosion and stored it somewhere safe and dust-free. Will probably take it out again within a year to play with my younger sisters and introduce them to my favorite childhood toy.

I just bought my R2D2 a few days ago from a thrift store and I must say I was beginning to get frustrated with him until I watched your video explaining his command system. Thank you so much for posting this! Now I feel better with my R2D2!

No, the robot makes all the sounds. He responds to certain voice commands. Before you make stupid uninformed accusations, go read the user guide off the Hasbro web site.

We bought about 10 of these when they came out, and sold most of them on Ebay for $150 each, they kept bidding way up! Paid for my whole trip to Disney World where I bought them.
