Jelani Watkins, a high school junior at Klein Forest High School, anchored his boys' team to a win in the Class 6A 4x100 at the Texas UIL outdoor Track and Field Championships, helping his team to the overall team title.

I will be impressed when the national record goes down. There are plenty of team who run 40 seconds every year. Jamaica can send B teams here that run faster. And the commentator needed correcting no team has dipped under 39 seconds here in the states
