Unpopular opinion: I like Ostapenko as a player. Yes she’s had her fair share of controversy but her pinpoint accuracy is extremely satisfying to watch. It’s also really funny to see her reactions to her opponents’ winners and sometimes her drama is very entertaining.

Watching Ostapenko when she's in the zone is like watching the Incredible Hulk on a rampage 🙂 I want to see this version of Ostapenko take on 1ga!

Ostapenko so hard to beat when she's on. She's a pure striker...very hard to teach, a lot of raw talent. Her easy power from the ground reminds me of Seles or Pierce. Using her entire body too like a kinetic chain to get that power.

It seems Giorgi's only way to beat Osta in this match would have been to smack the balls away before Osta did but she just couldn't. Osta's groundstrokes were very precise and she hit the balls so early.

I could see this happening. 2 of the hardest hitters on the womans tour, but JO goes for a winner on 1st strike, Giorgi likes to hit 2-3 shots before going for the winner. You have to make JO run cuz once she finds her groove, she'll blast the winners.

She anticipates the opponent's game well and her lucidity allows her to place herself well. Unbeatable! And I think her little outfits suit her very well. And Bam!
