I’ve watched clips from this stream so many times, didn’t realize how much good stuff I’ve been missing.

Pippa was the first Vtuber I ever saw and I went down the vtuber rabbit hole after that. I've found a few from other companies that I like, Hololive and Prism Project, but I always keep coming back to the Phase Connect girls. There's just something about how well they all work together and complement each other along with the freedom they are given to truly be themselves and not some watered down sanitized fake feeling non-personality. They are all entertaining in their own unique way. I couldn't even name another CEO of any of the other vtuber companies, but I feel like I know a lot about Sakana. I think it's amazing how much he has put into this company, and I love that he's willing to do these types of interviews, it makes me as a viewer feel like more a part of this quirky little family. Also props to Sakana for being able to take SO MUCH shit talking. When he says the girls are lucky he doesn't really ever get mad, that's straight facts. If these girls said 1/10th of the shit they say to Sakana to their boss/CEO at ANY other job they'd be fired so fast. Also the fish model is just ridiculous, how can you not laugh at that? Phase Connect should definitely win the rising vtuber org award. If you haven't voted, google it and go vote! Can't wait for Gen 3!

I feel like I'd watch maybe not a weekly, but a monthly stream of Sakana answering questions from a panel of Jelly, Shiina, and Tenma.

Sakana's interest in all things Gundam and his temperament has drawn my interest to the company over any other. He seems to kind of get the target audience and doesn't act like some stuffy pigheaded businessman.

From what I understood from Sakana's words Invaders were former talents who already had success so it wasn't that they filled a different need than other gens but rather they looked they were talents who were gonna blow up if given the chance.

1:46:46 The vibe I get from Fishman is that he is very fair. I mean... Pippa works at Phase Connect after all. So I don't see Fishman doing something untoward or unwarranted toward the talents like some other certain places I won't mention. I get the feeling if you are terminated from Phase Connect, it wasn't just a casual decision.

You can contract a system of royalties for old content once talent graduates. It can be contracted to happen monthly or yearly, and can continue to benefit both parties. @Sakana get on that shit cuz it's Win/Win/Win as fans can continue to enjoy the content too!

Watching so many PC girls gradually appear in chat to turn the screws on Sakana was extremely fun to witness I saw at least Erina, Tenma, Airi, Rie, Lia & Michiru at various times that I can remember

All I'm saying is I'd most likely go to Otakon again if Phase makes an announcement months in advance, given the 2 week notice this year was a bit crunched.

We all have our qualms with Sakana sometimes but man, this dude is legitimately a good dude that I am impressed with the work he's done. His answers were very insightful as to why he does the things he does and how he operates. Sakana is such a joy with how he acts and how his demeanor is sometimes, it's kinda ominous in a way the charisma he has sometimes. As to the not getting paid for things done during work that were presented as an asset during the interview, brought up around 39 minutes: There's an argument regarding efficiency on this that Sakana might see the benefit of, coming from the economics regarding concentrated cost & diffused benefit. Basically: suppose x is the cost (in terms of stuff like material, effort, and what else that time could've been used for) to the person doing the task, y is the benefit they directly get from doing that (in terms of payment, enjoyment/satisfaction from the process, and stuff like social approval), and z is the benefit others get from that (in terms of, say, art that's received, or more generally from enjoyment of what the other person has produced). There will arise situations, if z isn't converted into y (like, in the case of content creation, through ad revenue, patreon, or donations giving payment to the talent for the benefit that a fan receives), wherein x

I work in finance in and after watching this video just for the lulz I tried to imagine a vtuber company and what a pain in the ass it seems to be. If your company's income comes from the employees themselves (for example, a consulting firm), it is already a hassle, but when your main source of income is bratty highschool girls I would be at my wits' end.
