When I came on here, I wasn't going to say anything kind and then I started reading the comments and ended up crying. My son passed away at the age of 51 a month ago. He liked Country music and his Bikes! I don't feel kind right now, but I see there is kindness in this world still and that makes me feel a little better!! God bless this Country!!

😢 I am so sorry.....my mom lost her son, my brother at 40 years old from a massive heart attack. Mom left us 3 years later and life hasn't been the same for me and my sister. We do it one day at a time, one foot in front of the other. That was back in 1991 and 1995. Hang in there. You never get over it but you will eventually learn to move forward.❤

I left home in 1985 after twenty years in a northeastern Ohio small town that had a population of 3,692 in the year 2022. My life after leaving Ohio has been FULL of many blessings and also very successful with years spent in Seattle, Washington. Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. Anytime I feel like I am "too big for my britches" I throw on a song like this, or one of many gut punches by Kenny Chesney, (There Goes My Life) Randy Travis (Pray For The Fish) Brooks & Dunn (I Believe) (Church) Lyle Lovett They all take me back to where it all started and makes me humble REAL QUICK! I am so glad to always remember the roots of where I came from!

i cry every time I hear this song. We played it at my uncles funeral. He was a bee keeper. But not only that, there were stories told at his funeral about him as a young boy playing in the creeks, and being chased by bees. And so every time I hear this song, I just go back to so many memories of him. I loved my uncle, all of my uncles so much. And I miss them all so much. As well as my dad. You remind me so much of my son, your mannerisms, your heart, your voice, you history. My son passed away on June 16, 2022, of an overdose (meth/fentanyl) at 35 years old after being clean for 5 years. I remember sending him your song Save Me months before he died as I suspected he may have been using again though was in denial. I just see him in you (minus the tattoos on the face, though he had many tattoos). When you sing, I can picture my son crying for help silently. Your mannerisms are so similar. I feel his pain through you. I will forever feel that connection with you and feel closer to my son. Your new song I’m Not Okay again feels like my son reaching out even though he is gone. The most devastating thing a mother can go through. I can say I am so proud of your perseverance in the face of all your struggles. You truly are blessed.

Good morning Dawn. That' a beautiful way to start a day. Dawn, I will, gladly pray for you. And please smile. Love ya. Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

I would like to share some songs with you, perhaps you've heard them, or maybe not I believe to sing is one of our greatest gifts here on earth and forever after. Respectfully, 1. In Jesus Name by Katie Nichole 2. Better than Me by Riley Green and Randy Houser 3. 4. Proud Souls by Jason Boland and the Stragglers 5. Cancer By Tom Mac Donald 6. Dear Mom by Dax 7. Do You Hear What I Hear? This song was written during the Cuban Missile Crisis because of the overwhelming dread people felt. Husband and Wife, Noël Regney and Gloria Shayne Baker were reluctant to release it because of all the commercialism surrounding Christmas Day. But they did it anyway. Many beautiful artists have performed it. But on the day JFK was killed, Bing Crosby recorded his version, which I believe is the best version and best songs ever pefgormed in history. 9. Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamon 10. Georgia on By Mind- Ray Charles 11. Oh Mother of Mine by The Temptations 12. My Way by Frank Sinatra 13. You're the Inspiration by Chicago 14. Dear Alcohol by Dax- there are 3 versions of this song, the original, a remix (Video only KZfaq) where Dax challenged his fans to do a minute of their own version. Countless people responded and Dax selected 25 performers and made it an 18:30 song. It's a first in music and it's intent is beautiful. A third version with Elle King. Still Searching For A Reason is another great song among others. 15. Cotton Fields by Creedence Clearwater Revival 16. The Star Spangled Banner performed by Whitney Houston during 1990 Super Bowl and to me her version and Smoky Robinson's version for Super Bowl in 85 or 86. 17. Old Time Rock & Roll by Bob We get 19. God Bless America by Ronan Tynan performed after 9/11 in Yankee Stadium during 7th Inning stretch. 20. Let Your Love Flow by The Bellamy Brothers Have a beautiful day Dawn!!! Smile and sing all day!!! I will too. And may God continue to bless you and castaway your sadness forever.

This song helped me to cope with my Mom's passing recently. Being with her, and watching her take her last breaths, was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. At the same time, I knew it was my duty to be there. I knew she was leaving the suffering behind her and going to be with Dad. I knew she was Almost Home. Thank you.

I know that exact feeling. Holding the hand of the person that gave you life as they lose theirs isn't really describible. It hurt like hell, but in a way I was happy for her, no more pain and suffering.
