this song is very special to me, my uncle struggled with alcoholism and pill addiction and it almost ruined him. he found himself again and got his life together for his children and wife, we work together at a place called beneficial insectary in northern california and we listen to this song every morning at 5 am on our work to kick to the days ass. this song reminds me of how much he’s grown as a man and he listens to this song to remind him of who he never wants to be again. Man, this song hits home. We lost a buddy of mine lost his battle to his demons, and was a HUGE fan of yours. His mom and sister played "Only" at his funeral. His demons were addiction. He ended up OD. I'm sure this is a song that he would have really struck with. Keep up the work man. If you can change one persons life, its worth every minute of work.

I have spina bifida I was born with by 10 years old I've had 10 surgeries was hooked on pain pills got off them when I went to prison around the age of 19 I'm 29 now Nad you are my inspiration. I left the drugs alone years ago I'm from st Louis used to dabble and fck round. But when my daughter was born I quit but the bottle and that white girl got the best of me because I moved to florida on my own worked non stop but unfortunately couldn't build nothing for me or my daughter there my health caught back up with me. Now I'm really struggling because the spina bifida has really kicked up now that I'm older I struggle everyday but you and struggle have saved my life. I gave up. But through your music you and struggle when I was about to end it all you saved my life. And I'm forever grateful to you guys in glitter when struggle said its harder coming home then going in its hard to understand that statement less you been from where I been. That's preaching to me you all are my church. You saved me. And I want you to know I truly think you are the greatest artist that's ever been in my opinion. And I am a musician so I know what you do and how hard you guys work and how hard it's been to get from where you were to where you are. You are my forever hero. Much love

Im currently struggling with addiction. This song i can relate to. Theres just something about music and the power it can have is amazing. Especially coming from artists like Jelly and Struggle. They have been there. They show us there is a way out. Just have to find a way. Which I will do. Ive lost 27 friends in the past 2 years to overdoses. This is an epidemic. I love it. Started off rough talking about suicide but as always I'm glad to hear someone talk about it and bring awareness. Love this and both of y'all so much. I lost my son to suicide and it's so hard. But we can help stop it. Music heals the soul. ❤❤❤

I'm so sorry for your loss Kim! I too lost my son due to that (I still find it hard to say/write), but I totally agree with you! They have a gift with not only thier voices, but thier words and I fully Believe they are reaching people who needed it and ultimately saving lives in the process! I listened to this song and i left it on repeat all night until it sank in. And its the truth. Im guilty with caring too much about others and their struggles and demons hoping they will snap out of it and love me for doing so...and all it did was drag me down. All the bad that has happened in the mean time..i did it to my self by not getting out of the prison i put my self in mentally by doing so. :(

We need Jelly, Calhoun, Struggle, Jones & Church to do a collab. 5 versus, a kick ass chorus line; all wrapped up in a 6 minute track. I've come back to edit/clarify why these 5 should make a track. As a fan of each of them....lately I've watched 2 of them vlog about the aches of the "celebrity status" and about very personal sharings about depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. I imagine they all have very similar life shit to blast through. After all, they are just fellow men as us. I thank them for sharing why their heart hurts. I can only imagine the song they would make where they have a common title say Mental or Illness or whatever they agree on. Then each one writes a verse about their own struggle in life. Then all join on chorus. That song would be a hit in so many genres. More men need to know there are a lot of us that fear exactly what you do and struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. Admitting it makes you a stronger man, not a pussy; like the world wants you to believe.

The only remedy for me when my depression and anxiety is getting the best of me is to put on my music and just escape reality. I do it quite often. Stay strong warriors.

Jelly Roll I've been only smokin and drinking for over 10 yrs. Clean off the meth, hard, soft, heroin, pills ect. My fiance of 9yrs is leaving me because of my own demise. So this song hits the hardest right now. Thank you for your music and your an amazing person.
