As Yogi, Cindy and BooBoo all work at the hospital it makes sense Ranger Smith would be in charge... Maybe Ranger is his first name for this version rather than a job title? People have been named Hunter before, and apparently Daddy is a part of Doggy Daddy's actual name so...
